The Bosch 10 inch Axial Glide Miter Saw was perfect out of the box. I really enjoy using this saw for my projects and have wanted this saw for 10 years before I finally bought one. I am very happy with this saw. I only wish the dust collection was better and feel it could be engineered better if desired by Bosch. C'mon step up your game and make it perfect!

This saw has exceeded my expectations. It stay in alignment, cut great and I enjoy the small footprint.

Great Saw. Heavy. Works exactly right, needed a little adjustment out of the box. Heavy. Not terribly loud but i do wear wear protection. Did I mention it’s heavy?

This saw replaced a Makita 1013 that provided me many years of service. I went with the Bosch for two reasons. The first is the hand grip. With advancing years my hands started to dislike the grip on the Makita. The grip on the Bosch allows my hand to be in a neutral position while making a cut. It is much more comfortable than the Makita. My second reason for going with the Bosch is their axial-glide system. My workshop is pretty tight and being able to place the saw up against a wall is really appreciated. The saw has plenty of power and the dust-collection is acceptable. Lastly, but perhaps most important, I trust the Bosch name. The several Bosch tools I own have all provided drama free, reliable, service. Dislikes? None. I do wish it was a bit lighter but I don't need to move it much so it isn't a big deal.

Now that I have used my new Bosch Miter Saw for a few weeks, I can say it is far superior than any I have ever used. Buttery smooth action and precision cuts right out of the box. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. It will also be great in my limited space shop as the Bosch bevel action allows it to be closer to a wall. I would recommend anyone on the fence about purchasing this saw to not be hesitant.

Awesome saw. Really nice having the reduced rear space requirement because of the way it slides. Watch for a sale somewhere else and HD will beat it by 10%. Got mine for $586 plus tax. Very happy

I purchased this saw last Saturday and I've played with it for about 4 days now. So far it's very accurate and operated very smoothly. The 2 things I'm extremely disappointed with is the weight of the saw and dust collection is non-existent. Very little saw dust goes into the bag and when you finish making cuts the dust that collects in the dust port empties back on the work surface. I hope there is a solution for this problem, I've had both a DeWalt and a Hitachi saw that were considerably better. Looking forward to hearing from you as to a solution.

Love this saw. It’s built like a tank. With the articulating arm the saw feels more like a radial arm saw. We purchased the saw as we finish out our new timber barn. We’ve mainly been cutting full dimensional rough pine up to 12” wide. Works flawlessly. I highly recommend this saw. We also purchased the Bosch stand. A little pricey but we’ll worth it. The arms extend much further out than the others, the gravity design of folding the stand makes it easier to set up and the stability of the stand with heavy lumber up to 16’ long without fear of tipping over.

I am only giving this fine saw a 4-star rating because I just started using it. I don't have the skill yet or experience as a woodworker to use all its capabilities. I have it mounted on a cart with wheels and a small shop-vac hooked up to the dust tube at the bottom of the cart. For what I have used it so far - building a 2-door wood gate for backyard - I am very pleased with how it cuts and the ease that it cuts angles. I also bought a nice cover for it when not in use. It has no laser, but I you don't need one.

This is a pretty good stand. It is solid and folds up nice. It is a basic stand with out a lot of the little nice handy options. I am a home do it your self-er and this works well for me. If I was going to use something like this every day I would spend more money for a stand with more options on it.

I have a small cabinet shop it fits my space well

This is a well built sturdy miter saw stand. The side extensions hold long material. None of the construction is shoddy. It is all quality and finish. The only complaint I have is the locking system for the vertical supports on the side extensions. When you tighten them with the corner locks, it tilts the horizontal supports and out of alignment from the miter saw table. I cannot understand why the clamping action tilts the support, but it does. That is the only negative I have found. It is a small annoyance that I have to work around, but not enough to reduce the rating.

I’ve had this saw for almost a year after using my entry-level no-name saw for a few years. Absolutely love the mechanism and the ability to have it close to the back wall. It’s heavy but I have it bolted to a bench so I won’t be carrying anywhere soon. Everything about this screams quality and I love the feel of all the controls except for the depth of cut stop adjustment. It is the most unrefined, primitive method I could imagine and if basically useless. I have a table saw and routers so I. An use them for non-through cuts but would never try to do anything accurate with the depth stop on this saw. That and the unbelievable and previously mention lack of a laser are my only issues, but indicate that Bosch has both dropped the ball here on features and the lack of an accessory option indicates that Bosch really does not care.

Best miter saw I've ever owned, only minor adjustments were needed, setting up the stand took a few minutes but its all worth it, Not portable saw as it gets heavy once set up

I teach Cabinetmaking at a high school in Virginia and use this saw a lot over the last few years but with teaching students to line up their cuts, a laser would be very beneficial. I installed an aftermarket laser but it runs on a watch battery that did not last very long, it would have been much better if Bosch designed it with a laser. The other negative is the high pitched noise which necessitates ear protection, something that should be worn anyway. On the positive side, the extension arm action is nice and smooth with no apparent slop to it. Cuts are square and true from the box.

HAPPY! This is a great saw, love everything about it. It's pricey but this girl needed to spoil herself and get a quality tool for my multi deck project. The best tool I've ever purchased!! I purchased the stand that goes with it too, wonderful!!

I have had this saw now for about 20 months, and absolutely love it. I do have 2 regrets: 1. Nothing to do with Bosch, but I have it on the Bosch gravity stand and not on a dedicated miter station- can be a pain setting up due to lack of space, and 2. I wish to add my hope that Bosch can come up with a laser/shadow guide for this model, especially one which can be retrofitted. Sooner the better.
