It is a good fan. It moves a bunch of air so it isn’t ultra quiet, but it isn’t loud. I added a fan speed controller and that really added to it. Good for a kitchen, big bathroom or a workshop. Looks like spare parts ( motor) can be ordered too.

I had ordered both the 350 and the 270 . The 270 was the perfect fit for my updated new kitchen. The 270 has a outside unit with a downward vent. The 350 was a bit too large for the original opening.

was easy to place and includes instructions that are very easy to understand. It is not noisy and it extracts the smells and steam from my kitchen.

It is easy to assemble but too loud and the whole house was shaking. I ended up taking it out and returning it.

There is a reason for the brand name. This is very loud... BRROOOAAAAAN Otherwise, a good fan but the noise is just too much.

This exhaust fan is very good.

Needed it to replace a 60 year old kitchen exhaust fan. I didn't need the duct because I was able to install the the fan and motor in the existing duct. I only had to drill two holes in the bracket for mounting screws to get everything to line up. It plugged into the existing outlet so no wiring was required. Works great, moves a lot of air but it is loud

It was an easy install. I use it in a commercial setting. I am impressed with the smoke it pulls.

This is the third exhaust fan that doesn't do the job. This 350cfm is hard duct through the roof,only 3 ft from fan to roof and it wouldn't draw cig smoke from a 5ft radius below. I don't recommend it.

Product very good with one exception. The fan blades are made of plastic and break very easily. Our installer snapped off two blades just while putting the fan motor into place and adjusting the fan blades from touching the frame while in motor operation. We had to order and replace the total fan.

The fan was a bit tricky to install, but once installed it moved a lot of air and is definitely keeping the level of moisture in my bathroom down.

I bought this for a rental property. It's effective at venting the bathroom. The noise level is a little high but for a rental it's fine. Comparable to the unit that was replaced.

The install was easy but the quality of material was a bit less than I'd have liked. The fan was probably way more than I needed for the Kitchen and thus was very loud. The tech support had a solution for this though, so $30 and a little more work latter it works beautifully

I use this to ventilate my garage attic so noise is not a problem. It's well made by today's standards and moves a lot of air.

This fan gets a lot of use and is a little louder than I would prefer, but it has worked consistently.

Looks nice and seemed easy to install. Very loud though, rattles my lights in the ceiling. Louder than what I thought it would be.

Yes, it moves a lot of air but is a bit noisy. This is good for a kitchen grease fan .... not for the bathroom. They have been making this item fot years. I just replaced a 20 year old unit ... well, fan, motor and grill .... with the guts from the new unit I bought here .... every thing fit like a glove.

We have a wood stove that we use for heat in the winter. There have been many episodes of smoke filling the downstairs part of the house when attempting to get fires going. This fan moves 350 cubic feet of air a minute, and there has been NO SMOKE in the house this year. It's very hard to install in an existing ceiling! But it fit in the existing vent just fine. I couldn't be happier.

Buy a PANASONIC. They cost more , but are so much more QUIET ! You will never buy any other bath fan again once you try a PANASONIC.

This unit works well and looks good BUT it is way too loud to actually use. I ordered it online, as I needed an exhaust fan that would be appropriate for a kitchen. After I purchased it, I then had to purchase the transition/damper but could not get it through HomeDepot.com. I had to have my contractor purchase it directly from Broan. After all this, I finally got it installed and now I have to remove it, as it is deafening. I can't imagine that anyone could deal with the amount of noise.
