I installed the machine with an inline water filter. It worked great for the first 1.5 weeks. It then started to stop making ice. If I defrost the unit then plug it back in, it makes about a half tray of ice then stops working again. The E2 error message appears on the display (no ice being made after timeout....). I am in the process of returning this piece of junk.

Unit was very difficult to install/hookup. Fittings were an uncommon size. Had a very hard time stopping the leaks.

It works for the most part but won't just drop cubes of ice, drops big blocks with all cubes frozen together so scoop has to be used to break them up. Adjusting timing per manual hasn't helped. Also had problems with E2 message periodically. Performing reset process per manual takes care of it. Was annoyed when trying to get a PDF copy of manual and support wouldn't do it because they couldn't find a order ID - for a PDF of a user manual! Told them to forget it!

The instruction manual states that you only need to unplug the drainline port when you want/need to drain water from the unit. HOWEVER, this is not true. You need the drainline connected to a drain or drainpipe full time...before you turn the unit on. So, as it is an under counter unit (on the floor) you will need a sump pump to pump the gravity drained water from the bottom of the unit, up to you drain pipe (unless you've got a drain in the floor). And you'll need a PVC fitting to connect the drainline to your pvs drainline. It was a small and expensive hassle. Once properly installed it seems to work very nicely.

This is a horrible ice maker. It stopped making ice just two weeks after the warranty expired. The warranty is just three months. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that since it's out of warranty, they can only forward my email to the manufacturer ( I thought the contact info in the manual was for the manufacturer; it must be a distributor). It was also really loud when it drops the ice into the chamber. My family made me turn it off when they were home.

This iced maker is enough for my small shop . I really recommend it..

We had several of these installed at my company's offices(Federal gov't). The one in my office failed after about 5 months of use and many other locations report the same thing. I have tried to contact the manufacturer on how to fix and they gave me the run around so I am waiting on a response again. I would steer away from these units.

Funny you should ask. It worked for 2 weeks and stopped working. Unless there is some magic trick I don't know about, I wouldn't recommend it. This is the 2nd one I've purchased in a month that quit after 2 weeks. Guess the 1st one wasn't a fluke.

90 day warranty, no tech support, hard to work on.... No service manual available. Cheap price but may not last long, when it has a problem, toss it!

Good for the price. The drain does not have a pump, so I used a condensate pump in my installation. If gravity does not work for you a condensate pump is a cheap and efficient way to go.

I'm not happy at all. I'm on my second one and now it will not work. So what can you do for me ???
