My the machine makes ice well. Very fast! I lose 5 gal of water every 4 days. Why don’t they make this in recycling the water going to drain by holding it until making ice?

Fit perfectly in spot

Installations was quick and easy. It made an entire bin of ice in a a few hours, then it all melted inside the machine and I got an E2 error code. I cleaned it all out, reset it and tried it again with the same result - E2. Seems many have this same complaint, I am going to return it today.

Never run out of ice again and the square cubs don’t slide down the glass and hit you in the face

I purchased this item less than 1 year ago (July 2020) and it just a now messing up. I contacted the manufacturer, Costway, and they didn’t even want to sell me the replacement part. They only offer a 90 day warranty and they seem to headquartered abroad. I called the phone number on the sticker found on the machine and was never able to get thru. They said the office was closed even when I called during normal business hours. I eventually contacted the thru their website via email and it took days to get response only to tell me they could not help me. Would recommend Home Depot to remove this item sine the consumer would have such a difficult time with it. Not worth the trouble

Intend to return this. Worked great for a couple of months, been trouble ever since. Error E2 repeats. Research online appears this unit is marketed under many makes and models with mostly mediocre reviews. Save your money.

As far as the ice machine goes. It works like an Ice machine schould. The disappointing surprise was that it is a baby ice machine. It may actually make 110lbs in 24 hours. The bin itself only holds about 1 1/2 5gal buckets. The ice scoop is mini. I ordered mine online delivered to my house. If I saw it in a store first I would have bought something bigger. Probably good for a small bar or restaurant. If you are looking to produce Ice for your boat get something with a bigger storage bin. Easy to hook up.

The water line of the unit kept coming out and flooded the break room a couple time. Piece to hold water line in did not work. Unit was installed by a professional plumber.

Worked well for 1 1/2 years; then evaporator plate kept freezing up, making large ice chunk, had serviced @ $157 & was advised by tech to throw it out. IMO, Problem seems to be with the harvesting “switch”, no support from Costway, just was given email of China firm where the reply was “out of 90 day warranty “, try local service. Junk

This ice maker is great for the price.

This ice maker should not be put in any store. It doesn't work and will only become a problem returning to the company who manufactured it. It is hard to get anyone on the phone. It seems that they are sale this product knowing it doesn't work.
