It makes so much mess, the waffle does not come always in a nice shape. It’s not worthy

First of all, this upright style allows me to store it in my cabinet in the kitchen. It makes perfect Belgian waffles, set on #3 every time! I haven't made them from scratch yet, however, I use the Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix and add a teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract and a tablespoon of sugar, and they come out perfect! Since the waffle iron is so easy to use, I normally make more than I need and freeze the rest. This waffle maker is a breakfast game changer! It's easy to clean, too! I absolutely love it!

Love the watfle maker! Less mess and each waffle comes out perfect. We use it at least 3 times a week.

Excellent waffle maker! Setting 5 is perfect for me, the waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. No mess, even when I sliced up fresh strawberries and added to my mix!

This is the first time I have been able to make perfect Belgian waffles. I've used my waffle maker several times and it could not be easier. I am very happy with my purchase.

Is leaking on the right side i havent be able to use it as i programmed, beside that i think is great, you can have options of heat and all but the leaking problem is huge my experience so far is TOTALLY NEGATIVE

Makes delicious Belgian waffles. I finally found the perfect Belgian waffle maker.

This thing is INCREDIBLE. We have been making waffles every single day since we got it. We've made so many different flour blends and as long as they are runny, the vertical waffle maker makes them into perfectly crisp waffles! It beeps when the iron is hot enough, and then again when the waffles are ready...it's so foolproof. I was skeptical that a vertical iron would be as good as a traditional one, but the seal on this thing is perfect and they come out perfect every time. Best purchase ever.

This waffle iron is easy to use and makes tasty breakfasts. It has several levels of crispness, it heats up quickly, and alerts when your waffle is ready. The only drawback is that it is difficult to clean. The plates are not removable, as far as I can tell, so it takes some time to thoroughly clean.

This appliance is utterly amazing! It makes perfect waffles every time. The recipes in the owner manual are simplistic in their presentation and bake into the most delicious waffles my wife and I have ever eaten! We think it goes far beyond what it advertises!

I love how it makes great waffles and they don't stick! The beep is very convenient to remind me it is done. Thank you!

The vertical waffel maker works very well. The batter needs to be thin enough to pour easily into the spout, but it makes very good and consistent waffels. We are very happy with it.

Was everything and more than I thought it would be. It makes perfect waffles and is very easy to clean. Great product and very inexpensive. I have been wanting a waffle maker for years and hesitated because most were messy and difficult to use. Thank you Cuisinart for a fine line of products.

This is definitely a great waffle maker. So far we love it and now waffles are part of our weekend breakfast reouting. A few small issues - I noticed the first waffle doesn't always cook entirely, so I've let it heat up a few minutes longer than it says and it'd helped. Also, the pour into the vertical batter entrance is tricky with thick waffle mix and it's a tad hard to clean.

The waffle maker produces a great Belgian style waffle. I used the number 4 setting for a nice brown color and texture; however, pouring the batter into the top opening is very finicky hence only a 4-star review. Additionally, there isn't a really great guide on just how much batter you need to pour into the waffle maker to produce a waffle. Trial and error got me there.

The product cooks the batter mixture at the top, preventing the rest of the batter from flowing into the chamber. It doesn't work consistently.

Interesting concept, vertical. It's small so it easily tucks away in my small kitchen. Waffles pop right out, no oil needed. Easy clean up.

Came as Christmas present… made Belgium waffles .. each setting used and turned out same… very dark brown burnt… I returned it and ordered a new one … will see

Love the waffle maker but the batter ( made from their recipe booklet) was waaay too thick and only filled the topmost area. I had to spoon out lots of batter. Second waffle, I thinned the batter quite a bit so it poured in. All was good.

This vertical waffle maker saves time and makes wonderful waffles. Easy clean up and no messy batter seeping out of it during the cooking process. My daughter saw mine and ordered one for her family. Highly recommended.

Love this waffle maker. Works perfectly and NEVER sticks. Easy to use. Recommend to pour batter into cup then pour into waffle maker-less messy. Easy cleanup. The one negative is that batter must be smooth. Can’t put chopped nuts etc. into it. For 2 people, share each waffle to be able to eat them fresh.

We absolutely love this waffle maker! Our kids look forward to “big waffles” every weekend and this has created such a special tradition in our house. We love that it’s vertical and so easy to use! You won’t regret purchasing this device!

The only thing good about this is storage convenience.
