This waffle maker is awesome. The main thing to know is that you have to make batter thin enough to travel down to the bottom.

It makes the best waffles ever!! Easy to make and never a mess. Less time and no hassle. It has made weekend breakfast time fun for the whole family. If you are looking for a waffle maker, look no further than this. Easy to use and easy to clean. Doesn’t have spill overs to deal with either. All I can say is I just love it!

This waffle makers vertical design makes good waffles and stores well vertically. The major issue is the latch starts falling open when it has been running for a while. Our routine waffle batter recipe makes five waffles and half way through, the waffle maker falls open after it has been closed. I have fiddled with the latch to make sure it is completely closed and even had an engineering friend look into it. They said it was a design flaw. I exchanged the item and the second one worked well the first couple times we used it but again started falling open afterwards. Since we don’t make waffles every day, it was outside of the exchange window this time. Our waffle iron is now held together by a rubber band on the latch which is about as fun as you would imagine. Consider purchasing another product that has gone through more thorough review prior to sending to market. It is unclear how two devices could have this issue without it being noted in the company’s internal testing.

So easy to use, easy to store in my small kitchen, and perfect waffles that are far better and cheaper then any frozen waffles!

I like it its easy to use and clean good product..

There is a learning curve and it takes a bit to learn how to effectively pour the batter in but once you get it, the waffles are perfect and the cleanup is WAY easier. Very pleased!

It takes a while to figure out the right consistency to move through the vertical machine into the shape of a waffle... I’m still trying. Using protein-based mixes like Kodiak have been challenging. Will keep trying but I sort of miss my regular flat waffle maker as it wasn’t so challenging and the consistency didn’t matter.

Worked great until it didn't. We used it for a year( about 10 times) and suddenly it no longer worked. For this reason I cannot recommend it. Cuisenart was very helpful in replacing the unit.

The Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker makes fantastic waffles every time, but the only negative is cleaning up the waffle maker after use takes some time. Use a measuring cup to pour the waffle mix in not the scoop that is supplied. But it's well worth the cleaning hassle.

Don’t spoon batter into it, pour it into the opening using a spouted bowl. The iron is pre-set at 3, I believe. I feel it should be 4 or more for a crisp waffle

It is quite nice & sits on the counter quite nicely as well.For people.with no counter space this is the way to go.It would go well in the cupboard as well as on the counter.:)I leave mine on the counter because it’s not a very big waffle maker & it looks good.

Spout is much too small making it easy to spill over the outside. Most waffles have an undercooked portion you need to cut off. Difficult to clean.

It is the easiest waffle maker ever. Just preheat unit will beep when ready. Pour in the batter using the measuring cup that came with it and let the waffle maker do the rest. Will beep again when waffle is done.

Very nice machine, Cusinart outdid themselves with this waffle maker. Its heavy, holds the heat and the teflon coating is excellent, no spray oil needed. Above all it seems to be well enough enclosed that I can clean with ease without worry about getting the electric stuff wet. Yes, I would buy again!

We love ours! It works beautifully! Makes a delicious & perfectly cooked waffle! Clean up is also pretty easy, too! It’s also easy to store and isn’t big & bulky!

Works perfectly if you follow directions. No sticking at all on the grills. Didn't have to season it before I started using it. I'm very very satisfied and recommend this to anyone.

Simple and simply delicious. Trying new recipes, the dough has to be liquid but thick enough!

We bought this for Christmas morning. It worked perfectly! Keep in mind, if you like crispy waffles, you will need to use setting 5. However, after using it for several waffles, the unit becomes quite hot and you may need step down to setting 4.

I am giving this waffle maker 3 stars. There are several concerns: The only heat setting I use is #5, as the lower settings do not bake the waffles sufficiently. I also find that often the batter does not reach the bottom of the grid, resulting in a 3/4 waffle. The recipes are good and the finished waffles are tasty. The waffle maker is easy to use and clean.

This little machine makes the perfect waffles. The measuring cup is the perfect size for measuring and the clean up is a breeze.

This product was very easy to use. I like the pouring cup, which We found out that filling it with batter to 1/4” from the top is about the right amount. We haven’t even had to spray the waffle iron surface with “Pam”. The waffle peels right off. Very easy to clean. The pour spout makes it so easy to add batter to the waffle iron. I would recommend this waffle iron!

We bought this on a whim for quick and easy waffles for the kids and it turned out to be just that. Less mess, good waffles and easy to use. We use krusteaz and they come out great.

Great waffle maker just make sure you use the cup that comes with it and it will give you a good waffle

Fantastic design! Do make sure the latch is " clicked". 1st waffle was all over the counter. The next 86 waffles were amazing!
