I used this product to fix the damage done by 2 heavy plants having had been placed on hanging plant mounts, thus causing the plants to fall, bringing the mounts,screws and anchors with them. It took a lot of effort to fill the deeper holes left by the screws and anchors and much less of an effort to fill the more shallow cavities. That said, I thought the job was finished until I saw the compound falling onto the window sills. I kept refilling the holes but to no avail. Once the compound finally dried, half the empty space had been filled. This product was a disaster.

This product is designed for filling holes, cracks, dents and cosmetic defects on drywall. When installing fasteners as an anchor point/mechanical connection, especially in a weight bearing applications, the use of two-part epoxy-based fillers such as DAP Tank Bond Heavy Duty Advanced Epoxy would be recommended. This is good wallboard compound that is easy to work with and finish up for painting. I liked the amount of adhesion that allowed me to fill cracks very nicely as well as spread across wide surfaces to prep for painting.

great affordable joint compound
Bought a tub of this stuff to do small drywall repair jobs around the house. Its easy to work with and is ready to go right out of the container.

Easy application and finish
Goes on really smooth. Used a 12in tape knife. Sanded down nicely with 220 grade paper.
