Very effective in controlling the overpopulation of mosquitos in our backyard. We were finally able to enjoy our deck without getting eaten alive.

We have caught a lot of moths that fly out when emptied. We hope it it gets mosquitoes.

Just bought this for my back patio hooked it up to an outdoor gfci circuit and it doesn’t turn on at all, after close examination all the screws on the unit are stripped but it was sealed in all original packaging…. Immediate return and I doubt I will waste my time again on this product.

After using the Dynatrap for a month in the middle of summer, there are very few mosquitos in the bottom of the trap.

Dynatrap simple to set up &install. Quiet & clean compared to Bugzappers I have used in the past. It does catch some small moths, but mostly pest insects &mosquitos. Cord was long enough to reach my outlet. Many would have to use extension cord.

For some reason it started to make a noise with in the first 24 hrs. Returning it to the store

This works well when its working. I've owned it for less than 2 months and I've replaced the bulb twice already, I believe the recommendation is to replace it every 4 months. In addition, the bulbs are very difficult to find so I expect this may be a common issue. I also have the 1 acre unit and haven't had any issues with the bulb so maybe my 1/2 acre one is faulty. When the light is working it attracts the bugs and does what its supposed to.

I wanted it to work so bad,, but it Did not really eliminate the mosquitoes. I have just 1/4 acre .

I have had this model for a few weeks, and after a recent storm, it stopped working. I had to order a new light.

Excellent. Really does the job

Light went out after 2 weeks. No mosquitos in the trap.

Started working immediately. We can’t believe how many bugs are collected in such a short time. We can comfortably sit outside in the evenings without being bothered by mosquitoes! Highly recommend.

Had it out for about 10 days now and only attracted a small amount of insects. No way will this unit clear a 1/2 acre.. Please advise

My backyard is mosquito central and I can’t go outside without being covered in them. I bought 2 dynatraps on the assumption that these units would help reduce the mosquito population in my yard and attract them away from me. Unfortunately their claims appear to be over exaggerated. It does a fine job of catching moths, but while standing next to these units I’ll be covered in mosquitoes and the only time a mosquito is trapped is when it accidentally flies into it on its way to me. When I empty the collection cup it’s entirely beetles and moths and I can hardly find more than a few mosquitoes who were statistically likely to fly in the way of the trap. I would not rely on this product for mosquitoes alone, maybe if you hate moths then this product is for you.

Very hard to tell if it catches mosquitoes, especially when they are biting you when you are sitting right next to the thing. It does catch other bugs though.
