After installing my first 150SF out of 2500SF it was apparent that this product has some issues. 1) the self adhesive strip is too far away from the edge to meet up with the vapor barrier. Thought is was a fluke on the first roll, but soon learned that all of mine are defective off the line. Premium price and made in USA should indicate that the manufacture has some level of QC in the factory. This is an obvious non-conformance that should never make it to market. 2) Using this product will void the warranty on Home Depot's Lifeproof LVP. The only product that Lifeproof allows under their LVP is their equally expensive paper thin underlayment. 3) as others mentioned, the roll will not lie flat. Another minor annoyance, but it can make a big project a bit of a pain. 4) I find no difference in the sound level walking on the bare floor vs over the underlayment. It may work for lower levels, but don't expect much difference on the walking surface. 5) thick is nice for working over some minor imperfections, however you can see that the additional cushion does put additional stress on the locking joints.

The product is a great quality overall, and is a great underlayment. I have purchased the product in different sizes. The product in the 300 foot roll was different from the 75 ft roll. The tape edge to overlap the second row did not reach. The problem did not occur with the 75ft roll. The 300ft roll requires a roll of Robertson flooring tape to install.

I placed an order online and I went to pick up the priduct at the Home Depot in Yonkers location. Wrong product was sent. I order stuff online offten and the sane story happens, employees can never find prodicts that are ready for pick up. Every single time I spend a minimun 2 hours waiting.

My builder said he lives by this brand. You can really tell the difference when you walk on the flooring.

Layed out well and provided the needed vapor barrier

Easy to lay down. I put it in my bathroom to smooth out my floor prior to laying plank floors. Very impressive. Easy to work with.

Just one problem needed one more roll to finish the project. The new roll had a different overlay and two sided tape line. Because of this it did not match up with the other rolls of underlayment. Made it difficult to use it to finish my project. There was no difference in the packaging and no way to tell that it was different until you opened the package.

Very happy with this product. It gives a nice cushion to the step.

Much heavier duty than the garbage 1 mm stuff suggested for my flooring - only issue is when unrolling it does curl up on some parts. Still sits nice and provides great padding and sound dampening.

Unfortunately, the worst product for my 4-rooms floor project. The tape doesn't reach the foil, thus, it is completely useless. What is worst, likely because of the tape, the underlayment is uneven (ripples on the tape site) - nightmare. I should have returned it, but I didn't want to waist more time. This is defective product.

Helps deaden floor sound, also adds comfort when walking.
