After several days of heavy raining the pump in the collection pit of the ductwork under my foundation failed. I bought this pump to remove the water. It was super simple to get started and use. The pump very quickly primed itself from a 4 1/2ft rise and pumped out around 1500 gallons of water in under 45 minutes. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have been using this pump for non stop use and it has performed well. I really like that the unit comes with a spare impeller. A good all round pump.

Awesome pump
This pump was pretty easy to use and had great power behind it. Really sad to see it's not available and wish it was back on the market.

Good for de-scaling Navien water heater
This pump was purchased to facilitate the de-scaling of my Navien NR-180A on-demand water heater. (small submersible pumps are usually recommended for this application but I have concerns about using a submersible pump in an acidic environment.) I have successfully used this pump twice and these are my observations and recommendations. The box states the pump comes with a spare impeller, brushes and o-ring. My box came with a small bag containing the above noted items; however, when I went to use the pump the first time there was no water flow, even with priming. After removing the pump cover plate, I discovered the pump head had no impeller. So I installed my "backup impeller" in the pump after lubricating it with food grade silicone grease. I had to determine the direction of rotation so as to install the impeller with the vanes pointed in a trailing direction. After adding a small amount of water to the inlet port to prime the pump, it preformed well in a test using a 5 gallon bucket and tap water after placing the intake and output hoses in the same bucket. After I was convinced the pump was working ok, I emptied the tap water and refilled the bucket with 4 gallons of white vinegar. The pickup foot was placed in the bucket and the outlet and return hose were connected to the heater following water heater's manufacturers instructions. (Several videos are available on YouTube with details of this process.) The pump flow and pressure seems adequate for this application but I suggest securing the hoses to the bucket with clamps to avoid the hoses moving out of place. This pump is very loud but once setup it can be left unattended for the run time with occasional monitoring. (Do not let this pump run 'dry' as the moving liquid cools the impeller and avoids premature failure of the pump) The pump is self-priming however priming the pump will save premature wear and tear on the impeller. I remove and lubricate the impeller after each use because of the long intervals between uses and I don't want the impeller to take a set in the housing. I checked the brushes after two one hour descaling sessions and they are just now seating well without signs of wear. The pump head appears to be performing well with no observed ill effects from the vinegar. Note: there are two iron bars in the pick-up foot which are meant to help hold the inlet housing flat however in the acidic solution for my application the bars rusted almost immediately. Even to the point of flaking off large rust flakes. If these get trapped in the water heater, they can be released later into your water lines. I know this happened because I found rust particles on the inlet screens of my fixtures. I coated the iron bars with liquid vinyl electrical tape so this should no longer be a problem. I clean all fixture inlet screens or filters after each de-scaling session. This little pump works well for this application and I will continue to use this pump to de-scale and flush the water heater every 6-12 months. These are just my experiences and observations and are not meant has a guide for this application by anyone else.

This pump was easy to set-up and was quiet and worked extremely well to its rated value as per specifications I used it to drain my spa which holds 500 gallons which was drained in a little over an hour. I would recomend this pump highly.

Bought this unit to drain our water heater in order to replace it. The heaters natural drain was clogged and not usable. The plumber would have used a small 1 gallon shop vac to drain the heater, which would have taken several hours and cost many times the cost of the pump. Worked great!

I am building a house that will eventually be off the grid. I tried well pumps from 2HP down to 1/4HP and all of them had an extreme electrical spike when first turning on which was too much for my 2500 Watt inverter which can handle spikes up to 5,000 Watts. So, I purchased three of these and connected them in series. When I turn them on one at a time and don't see any significant electrical spikes...and only a mild spike when I turn them on all at the same time.
With all 3 of them running and a 60 micron filter between the first pump and my water tank I get 60 psi of water pressure and a flow rate of 3 gallons per minute...perfect for a small house off the grid.

Purchased this pump to remove water from a small area in the summer of 2019. It worked intermittently about four days then stopped lifting water even when primed. The thermal cutout switch continuously triggered, forcing 30 to 45 minute delays. On the 4th day of use I had to babysit the pump almost continuously as it randomly lost suction. It ran dry for just under 2 minutes due to this random loss of suction and started smoking. Although the thermal cutout worked the previous 3 days, it failed this time and should be considered a potential fire hazzard. Please do NOT operate this pump unattend. After cooling down, the pump had trouble holding a prime or drawing water more than a few feet. The instructions actually state this model is rated for about 200 hours or just over 8 days of operation before it needs repairs--my unit didn't last half that long.
The Everbuilt .1 HP Transfer Pump is an absolute piece of Chinese junk—it’s not even a toy. I took it back and purchased a real cast iron water pump with a steel impeller. The second pump has worked right the first time and every time since with absolutely zero issues.
This review comes from someone with 25+ years experience with water pumps, hydraulics and irrigation systems of various sizes ranging from 1/4” up to 10” heavy pipe.

This sump pump works great for how I need to use it. I use it to drain my small pool, easy to drain with a good pump rate. I like the compact size. I use the water to water my lawn because of good pressure that the pump puts out. Work smarter, not harder.

I got a couple of inches of water in my basement. This pump is awesome. It does have a built in protection if pump runs dry too long, it will shut down and will need a cooling off period , that helps the life of it. It comes with replacement brushes and a n impeller so you can have a long life from it.

Very easy to set up and operate. It moved about 35 gallons for me in just a few minutes. Pushes a good strong stream through a 5/8 inch garden hose.
