Fits good. What you buy either fits properly or it does not. If you are not sure of the size measure before you purchase and know it will fit righ the first time.

Great for adapting a 3/8" compression angle stop male thread down to 1/4" compression connection for an ice maker.

Used it to adapt down from metal fitting to PVC fitting for a water filtration unit. Worked out great

Very helpful since many valves are 3/8 but ice maker is 1/4.

I needed this to go on a 3/8 inch fitting and reduce to 1/4 inch so that the ice maker line would attach to it. It fit right on and I have always been told for compression fittings, do them finger tight and then use the proper size wrench to give it 1/4 turn to tighten it. I did that and no leaks at all since it was installed a week ago. I have a lot more confidence in having that adapter on there and the ice maker line going to it than what was on it before.
