I had air blowing in from around the front door seams. The V-Seal Weatherstrip was easy to install and sealed the door right up. Great product.

Did not fit my needs. Did not use.

I installed this on a casement window. It dried out and crumbled within 3 years. A waste of time and money.

We purchased V-Seal weatherstrip 3 yrs. ago, and at that time it had a 5 yr. guarantee. It cracked and crumbled to the floor within 3 yrs. We had used other brands of the same product for decades with long lasting success. This is not a quality product and does not deserve to be sold by Home Depot.

This is the best wx stripping out there. I had a home energy audit 5 years ago and they installed this product. Just now had to be replaced, but unable to find in most smaller type hardware stores. Very happy Home Depot carried.

Adhesive is not strong enough. It came out within 10 mins

Works pretty well, a little flimsy though.

The product was very brittle. Cracked and some pieces fell off during installation. Probably an old product.

I received this product from DTE and came here to purchase more. Very easy to use and keeps the cold air out.

Great for double hung Windows however if gap too big the strip will vibrate causing an annoying whistle. Easy to install and work great

I found the product to be exactly as described on the package. It is 7/8" wide with an effective sealing surface of 7/16". The adhesive is quite good, very sticky. I found that if you cut the length you need and crease it as you would a piece of paper, then install it - that works well. (The strip will be more rigid/less floppy.) The package does not state the obvious: clean the surface to which you plan to apply the product. (I find that alcohol prep pads work wonders for cleaning/prepping a multitude of products.) Very pleased with this item.

The plastic weatherstripping comes "Rolled up" When you unroll it and straighten it out, it produces wrinkles in the straight line surface, which in turn causes wrinkles at the contact points with the door, leaving GAPS.

The self stick weatherstrips were easy to install and reduces the draft from the door gaps.

The adhesive was easy to install and helps keep the draft out from my attic doorways. The strips are easy to cut to size by matching it up to the doorway. Just be careful with the adhesive. It is merely a double sided tape with one side already glued to the weather strip. The first doorway I did, I did not have any issues, but on the second one, as I was peeling back the paper over the adhesive, I noticed it was actually pulling the adhesive off the weather strip. Peel back with a little care and you should be fine. Overall, I am happy with how fast it installed and it does do what I need it to do.

Fine product but as of Nov 30, 2014, the picture of the actual product on the website isn't accurate. Zoom in on the orange circle (near the lower right corner of the packaging) and it shows dimensions as 7/8" x 7/8". But the product is actually only 7/16" x 7/16" (a total width of 7/8") and packaging in the store is correctly labeled as such.

I've used the V-Seal Weather Strip for years. It really does keep out the cold wind. One strip is on the back door, which has been there for about 15 years. It still does the job of keeping out the cold wind. A most excellent product.

Used this at my front door to keep cold air from coming in; works really good.

The product works well, and is simple to apply - but probably not long lasting - but easy to replace at a very small cost
