Great looking convection built electric wall oven with Wi fi features.

I love the quality in the features that GE products offer my wife loves the Wi-Fi capability with the range and it was one of the only products that we found in the slate black color which we think is absolutely beautiful. My wife has never cooked with a gas cooktop in this GE gas cooktop and has made this new experience for her absolutely amazing. The dishwasher is so quiet that if you did not see it here and see the lights on while it was running you would never know it was washing a load of dishes.

We purchased two matching GE wall ovens to replace our 25 year old GE ovens. We love the convection features and the WiFi connection works flawlessly. Can go to the store and preheat through the app on the drive home. So far everything is great and my wife is happy

I love how it connects with Alexa and I can request updates. Easy to use, program and check. It looks awesome on the wall and made my kitchen to look great.

It is a nice oven but the app is a little bit of a hassle. Over all i think it is a great oven very futuristic

Works well. Love the sliding bottom shelf. Wish I could purchase another shelf for the top rack. Broiler really rocks Have it hooked to my Alexa and can preheat and shut oven off remotely. Love that feature.

First time experience with an oven unit with all the bells and whistles -- so still on a learning curve -- but thus far everything has performed wonderfully. Always wondered whether a convection feature would be worth it and the answer is a resounding yes!! All of the features I have used thus far work easily and am very satisfied with this product. The aesthetic of the oven in stainless steel and black-out function panel is also very sleek and has updated my kitchen's appearance significantly. Even my neighbors say they wish they had chosen my new GE appliances when they did their remodels. I would recommend this product line wholeheartedly.

Excellent oven the looks and cooks great. The convection cooking cooking works very well and makes for perfect food. The added smart features using alexa or the ge app are a great bonus.

Our new oven was installed two days before Christmas. It has a nice, even heat. I am still practicing with the convection oven, but the touch pad is easy to use. One feature is the easy slide out rack, and that is very nice when a heavier pan is used. I also really like the coated racks. They make the oven look clean. I also like the newer models that do not have the heating element inside the oven.

We are enjoying our new GE convection oven and learning how to use it! Thus far, we’ve had great success.

The main draw to this oven was the sleek design with no buttons. On top of that, the touch screen buttons hide away and only show the time during idle time, making the oven even less busy. The only reason i am removing a star is that the capacitive touch buttons sometimes get triggered by the steam/hot air that comes out of the oven when you are cooking and open the door. The oven has remote software updates so maybe this will get fixed in the future.

We love the slide out rack and that it is a smart oven features. The slide out rack is also extremely useful

An absolutely gorgeous oven paired with a GE Black stainless steel microwave.

This is a amazing oven and cooks way faster than our old gas oven. 20# turkey was done a hour sooner. However, the knobs sit higher than the grates and can be damaged by sliding pots off of stove. Will be asking for new knobs as it's only a few months old. Will update after warranty process.

Just installed. So far so good. First pan of brownies turned out great. Love the appearance and the oven roller rac.

I love the look of this oven in my kitchen! The color combination is beautiful and I love the convenience of having the app on my phone, especially for preheating. I’m looking forward to cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year!

Love the new oven! Made a banana bread about an hour after the install. It came out perfectly! Temperature is exact per manual temperature gage we put inside.

This is our 3rd GE stove. We will never buy another brand. We have bought more expensive brands and the quality of the GE is better. Additionally, we have found the GE brand to be more dependable. We have not had ANY issues with our GE stoves. This oven replaced a more expensive brand that we had mutiple issues with. Circuit board, error codes, poor quality, etc...Finally, the thing just died and we loved our GE cafe oven so much we decided to get anohter GE (photo). This GE also cooks better than than my old oven and has a meat probe that was absent in the other oven. The racks are also better quality as they glide easily. The thing cooks much better. Other reviews have claimed the preheat is slow and I have not found this to be the case. The unit is just AWESOME. It cooks evenly and preheats faster than our old oven. Ample space, a large cooking area, meat probe, and convection make this a winner. It also looks very modern and the glass panel which does not seem to leave finger prints which was a convern of mine. Additionally, you can connect it to wifi and scan barcodes to preheat oven. This thing is a home run. Look no further. Buy this oven.

This was an update for my GE oven! I like GE replaced my 2005 oven with this, what a great choice! Heats and bakes really accurate, with the old one it took some time and had to watch. And the self clean quit working on my old one, so I am really glad to have that feature back. Wi-Fi enhanced, wow, turn the oven on by phone! When you get home it is ready to go! Proofing setting is a bonus for me? To many features to list!

This is a very nice oven with a lot of cool features, functions and looks. As long as you have just a little patience. Out of the box, it came well packaged, and took a little bit to completely unpack it. Installation was pretty typical, and fit perfectly as a 30” should. 240v 4-wire metallic flex conduit is standard fare here. I forgot how heavy this would be, luckily I have a friend next door for assistance. I was somewhat giddy when it lit up and I connected it to WiFi with my iPhone. You download a simple app to control oven functions remotely, if you wish to do so. WiFi connection was pretty simple. To my surprise, before I could set the clock, it had already self-set because of the WiFi. Nice. The front control panel is pretty cool. Other than the clock and Wi-Fi indicator showing in a blue LED, the whole face of the panel is black. Touch it and the whole control panel lights up and looks just like a normal touch pad on your microwave or something. Almost like the writing and lines were physically on the panel. Then when you are done it all disappears. Cleaning the front of this will be a breeze. The app is very simple in design, and I have read complaints about how basic it is, but it seems to be fine for what I'd need. Select your cook mode (bake/convection/broil, etc.), scroll to the temp you want and fire it up. On the same screen is an option to set a delayed start time. Pretty self-explanatory. It's great if you want to save time and have it preheating while you're on the way home from work, or out in the back yard busy and have to go inside soon to cook. One unique feature of this oven is the ‘Scan To Cook' feature. On the app there is a barcode scanner you can use to scan, for example, your Totino's Pizza Rolls. The oven now already knows the cooking instructions and sets itself accordingly. You don't even have to read the box. GE has a library of something like 3000 foods set up, and growing. It is also voice compatible with Alexa, Google and Nest, to name a couple. The inside of the oven, with the bottom rack low, can squeeze 14” high in there, and the opening is 24” wide. A decent, black porcelain oven interior with good lighting is there. Convection fan can be seen centered in the back. Racks are really nice and move well. There is an included temperature probe with the oven. It will probably get used twice a year in my house. I've only cooked a couple things so far, but it cooks perfectly for me. I honestly think some people expect miracles from a convection oven. Unless you cook an item directly on the rack (not), no single food is ever going to be cooked identically on the top and bottom. Your pan/tray/dish will transmit heat differently than the uncovered face/top of the item. But, cooking something on the top rack vs. the bottom rack won't see any considerable difference because of the fan. I've seen 2 particular complaints in reviews. One has to do with the convection blower sounding like a jet engine to a couple people. What?? My oven is nothing like the sort. At worst, it sounds like the microwave exhaust fan on low. Second is the preheat time. I can agree with this a LITTLE bit. Some say it is taking 20 minutes to preheat to somewhere around 400F we'll say. GE says 15-20 minutes is normal. My other convection oven, and I had timed it, would hit 400F in about 13 minutes. So, 15 isn't so bad, but 20 might get on your nerves a little. So, I really like the oven so far. It's sharp, cooks great, and has some gadgetry for the more adventurous and tech savvy people. Maybe a little pricier than some, but take advantage of one of the many sales that go around.

Great oven but notifcation beeps are too low you can barley hear them.

The oven takes forever to heat up. Once it does, it cooks pretty fast. When baking, the top gets more done than the bottom. The coating on the grates is coming off and I have had it less than a month.

Replaced a 25 year old wall oven the still worked but wanted to upgrade to stainless steel and convection.

Very high quality wall oven. Installed very easy once I was able to get my cabinet at the correct size to install. It has many features and the ones we enjoy the most are the convection which cooks must faster and seem to also cook more efficiently. We tried the self clean and it worked excellent as the oven looked new and we had used it several times. The heavy duty racks are also great and the clean easily and as stated you do not need to scrub We downloaded the Ge App and it does work . It is a little pricey as all the features I am sure contribute to that. Over all a top quality oven that shows and works well.

All The Convenience And A Back-Saver... I have wanted a wall oven for years and finally I have one. I love cooking with gas with cooktop but nothing bests an electric oven for temperature control for baking. Since I love to cook it may seem like overkill but boy do I love this new oven. The oven was quite a chore to install and I did it myself. I would consider this job to be a intermediate level if not harder. I love DYI but if you are not comfortable with this level of install, definitely have H.D. install it for you. I'm a pretty good handyman and DIYer so this was at the top of my skill level. I built my own cabinetry and shelving around the oven and I will try to update the photos once I have my finish work done on the cabinets. I removed a laundry room that was adjacent to my kitchen and turned the whole room into a pantry with this wall oven inside. I probably built the framing a little stronger than it needed to be but I should never have to worry about an issue of it falling. I drew a template of what i was building and made sure that my positioning would match up with my electrical connection box. I double checked the opening and made sure I had some strong support runners inside that the oven was able to slide right into place. The oven is very feature rich. The convection saves a ton of time with baking. The opening is great size for a whole meal, huge turkey etc. It does come with a meat thermometer and adjustable trays. The oven heats up quickly and bakes very even. I have only made one cake so far but it baked and browned evenly across the top. So far I'm very happy with this wall oven.

This oven is beautiful - and the color LCD screen touch control pad is AWESOME. Very easy to use - and so far, working perfectly. The display is large enough to be seen from the other side of the kitchen. Great quality! The features are great, and it uses less electric. Very impressed so far. I can't wait to try cooking next Thanksgiving turkey dinner in it. With the Precision temperature probe which allows monitoring of the turkey to assure they are thoroughly and accurately cooked without opening the oven door. The exterior of the oven is very minimalist and sleek looking, with a beautiful design and a lovely glass touchscreen control panel that can be easily wiped clean—no knobs! The handle is nice and easily grasped, and there are no sharp edges around the oven door, unlike some other brands. The entire oven and door are very easy to wipe down and clean both inside and out. Steam cleaning involves pouring a cup of water right into the bottom of the oven! I love the warm setting, which will keep covered food items warm for up to two hours. The temperature is exactly as displayed. The oven heats up amazingly quick. Food cooks evenly. The oven racks have the same enamel finish as the interior walls and can remain in the oven during the self-clean cycle. Connecting the oven to mobile was seamless. After downloading the application, just follow the mobile application instruction. The sleek modern design is just wonderful! I absolutely recommend it.

This 30 inch 5.0 cubic foot single electric wall oven with self-cleaning convection in stainless steel is a great looking oven that works great. It has lots of features like the convection for even cooking and making a great pizza. It is easy to use and has a nice digital display. The installation is straight forward with a simple wiring connection and securing it to the cabinet. Overall a great oven.

This review is for the GE 30 in. 5.0 cu. ft. Single Electric Wall Oven with Self-Cleaning Convection in Stainless Steel. I got this oven to use in a second “kitchen” area downstairs in my home. When we purchased our new home, one of the wish list items was a double oven which this home did not have. There was also no room in the main kitchen to add a second oven so we compromised and converted part of our “mud room” to a second kitchen. Installation of this oven requires hard wiring it to 240 volt service. Although the Home Depot website says it is a “plug in” oven, that is not accurate and it needs to be hardwired. When I unboxed the oven, I was very pleased with the “clean” look on the front. I’ve included photos of the oven prior to installation but unfortunately I’m away from home and don’t have any post-installation but it is an excellent looking oven. The oven is large and will fit a full size cookie sheet which is another plus for me. When you turn the oven on, it seems to heat up in a reasonable time. There are a variety of settings, including convection, but I tend to find myself only using a regular bake setting or broil setting. I’m sure a more experienced cook might find the other settings useful. There is also a self-clean/steam clean setting but I have not had to use that yet. There is also a temperature probe which I will find useful when cooking roasts. This oven is also wi-fi connectable to allow you use some oven functions via wi-fi but I have not yet set that up. I have had other appliances that were wi-fi connected and never found them particularly useful but I will give it a try. The racks in the oven move smoothly even when they have some weight on them. I have only had this oven a few days so I can’t judge it’s longevity but so far it seems like an excellent oven and I would definitely recommend it.
