Its extremely loud and glad its in the basement and not near our bedroom.

This washer has been very disappointing. The water goes in extremely slowly, even with the deep fill the clothes are not even covered and the clothes do not stay balanced.

Finally have a washer that does what you would expect, met my Expectations

3 washes in and the thing does not properly spin the water out of the clothes, had to run another spin cycle just to get enough water removed to be able to move the clothes to the dryer. I will give it a couple more before return

We were able to switch the side the door opened which was huge for our laundry room set up

So far, so good. I'm still in the process of figuring out all the features, but so far it's intuitive and did a good job washing the first load. I'm used to seeing a lot more water in the tub when it goes into the wash cycle, so I added more by depressing the deep fill button. It adds a few more gallons every time you depress it. If you depress and hold the button, it should fill the machine, but I haven't tried that yet. It did a great job on that first load, and the items were just slightly damp when I removed them, so will be saving time in the dryer. I currently have two king sized sheets, 10 pillowcases, and a winter nightgown in it, and it only seems half full. In my old machine, I would have had to split this load, so I'm also saving on electric usage, and that's impressive. I'll check in again once I've done more loads, but so far this machine seems to be a winner. I researched on-line for a long time before I decided on this one, and so far it is better than I anticipated. There are a ton of options where you can set your preferences, and really like that the user has input on how they want to run the load. You can also save your favorite setting, and that's great. Only time will tell if it lasts as long as my old one, but so far I'm really pleased with it. It does have a very deep basket, but I'm tall and can reach, so not an issue for me. I'll add another review in a few weeks to let folks know if it's a good as it appears to be right now.

love the wash cycles, washes clothes in less time then we thought. Wi-Fi connect is Great lets us know when clothes are done.

It's a small thing...it's a big thing... I really like being able to pour a bottle of detergent in, and have it measure and add it automatically to each load of wash. I also like that my Apple watch notifies me the status of the load. It's easy to choose and change the options. I like everything about this washer. It exceeded my expectations

I had purchased another GE washer about three years ago after having an older style top load with the agitator for many years. The one I bought was horrible, didn't even cover the clothes with water, left residue on dark clothes and had to use the extra rinse every single time, sometimes twice. So I was hesitant about purchasing another GE, but stayed loyal to our local store and gave it one more try. I'm so glad I did. This washer is great. I love the deep fill option and it seems to have gotten my clothing cleaner and rinsed better than my prior model. I do use the deep fill on almost everything I do, but not positive that's necessary. It is very deep and I'm not tall, but I am still able to get things from the bottom of the machine. It is a little louder than I thought it might be, but our laundry room has a door so I just keep it closed.

So far the product works great cleans the clothes real good and drives them real well we love the way it looks and the way it saves room

Have use GE for 15+ years. I am very satisfied. I would recommend GE appliances over any other.

We absolutely love the features, especially the smart dispense capability. Because of the capacity and features we are able to manage a family of four's weekly laundry needs in half the time.

Water saving should not be the focus of a washer. It should be clean clothes and electric savings.

Still in the honeymoon period with the washer and matching dryer. Both have Wifi, which is nice for the sole purpose of knowing when the load is done. My favorite part is you can spin the dial (both Washer and Dryer) and see all the different suggested selections. Then you can modify each setting, then hold down the MyCycle button and it will save these for your next wash. Special settings are saved per each cycle selection, very nice. I almost always hold down the DeepFill for three seconds, then save under MyCycle, just to make sure the washer fills high enough. (Guess I'm not so green).Spin cycle is fabulous, cutting down on dry time for sure. Everything ALWAYS comes out clean with the agitation setup.The washer is a bit deep, and you really have to reach down hard to get socks off the bottom, but that what you get with a 5 CF washer. 1 year warranty on all items P&L, 10 year warranty on the motor.Very satisfied after 4 weeks, and feeling good about owning a GE product, knowing their service record.5 Stars!!!!!

I appreciate having such a large capacity washer so that I can wash my comforters instead of having them sent out to be cleaned. Also to be able to save water by adjusting the water levels. Overall, it is a very good/excellent product.

Very loud and doesn't stay balanced even on small loads.

Great bang for your buck! WiFi enabled (must buy additional part separately <$100), large basin, rising station, automatic detergent dispense, WOW!

So far I am empress by the efficiency of this product. I cant wait to see the long term use effects.

I am happy to have a machine that works, one doesn't have a continuous fault code or constantly goes out of balance as I have had on recent machines from other competitors. So this machine was my latest adventure in trying to avoid these problems. The only complaint so far is the Machine is a little noisy but it is in a separate room with a door and so it works for us! The Energy Savings features take a while to get use to. This has been the biggest complaint of customers are complaining about after getting the machine on the internet. We have watched the cycle in the beginning and it only just puts enough water in to do the job but it constantly adds water until the clothes get to the correct moisture. In the beginning the clothes do not look wet. Don't panic or worry the machine figures it out and your clothes do get clean! It took awhile for us to believe it after watching several cycles and now can walk away that the machine knows what it is doing. On some of the features you cannot request a full amount of water. That is what confuses people and It is listed in the fine print of the instruction manual which cycles have full water requests accepted. Once the cycle is understood, we now just manually put the soap in first (we opt out of the massive soap storage feature), throw in the clothes, pick the cycle and walk away now. That is all I am looking for from a washing machine. It doesn't have a timer or buzzer to tell you when the cycle is over, but I could set up WiFi to the machine to my iPhone if I wanted that information. Instead I just set up timer in the phone which tells me when the machine is done. We purchased this model because it has an agitator with the Energy design too. It spins super fast like the other machines, but we wanted an agitator because we wanted our clothes to move around in the machine during the wash cycle too. That was one of the complaints I had about the Top Loading energy savings machines. They didn't have an agitator and the clothes just seemed be sitting in one spot during washing cycle. After Washing the clothes come out really dry and you think they have not been washed, but they have. The advantage of this is I have been able to reduce the amount time used to dry the clothes in my drying (GE electric) by 10 to 15 minutes on average. Thus another energy benefit resulting from this machine. So far I am happy with the purchase.

The washer completes loads much quicker than our old one. The wifi connectivity is a plus (we get updates on our phone when the load is complete and we can control the washer from Google home.

Well it is plenty big. But i have to use a reacher or stepstool to get things out of the bottom. There's lots of nice choices for the settings but I don't think the agitation is strong enough like for some socks with some dirt on them it just doesn't get them clean you have to pre-treat him with spray and wash and add a whole bunch of soap and I always try to do the Deep soak and then I have to hold the button and t do it again just to get it to fill up with water. If you wanted to clean longer that's the only way you can get the clothes cleaner and the other machines you have a setting for permanent press and the Cottons but it appears this one doesn't change the speed of the agitation I like how it looks and it cleans pretty good otherwise I just don't like my socks to look dingy

I love so many features of this machine! I originally purchased this model so that I would be notified when the load is complete. Located 2 floors down, its quite a hike to see if the clothes are finished. The water station is great since there is no sink nearby. The feature in the washing and rinsing cycle to add extra water is so appreciated. I knew my old machine wasn't cutting it...My clothes feel and look better. I also love that I can put a huge jug of detergent in it and don't have to measure for all those loads. This was definitely one of the best purchases I've made. The only downfall was that I had to add a wifi extender, but this is understandable since it is so far away from my router.

The washer is great. It's pretty fancy too. I love being able to see inside. It's a great size, it fits my King comforter with ease. I can wash 4 times the amount of clothes at once as my old wash machine. there are so many options!

I have 3 kids heavily involved in sports. In my opinion (disclaimer, so not to anger anyone :-), no washer cleans as thoroughly as a top load with an agitator. I comprehend the benefits of a front load washer or a top load with an impeller, and have tried them all. But if I want to deeply clean the toughest of laundry, an agitator is a MUST. After much research on options, control over water depth levels, capacity, and reviews, I chose this machine. I could not be happier. It runs circles in performance over my last washer (front load) in cleaning, not to mention, last minute laundry additions and pre-rinsing in the water stream as the basin is filling. I mentioned heavy cleaning, but the gentle cycle is great too. I just turn off the SmartDispense feature (awesome by the way) and add a very mild soap. The wifi connection to an app was not even a feature I was looking for, but now I don't know how I did without it. My phone alerts me when the laundry is done. It even scolds me if I have left damp clothes sitting for 30 minutes. haha

I’m still learning all of the features, but love it so far!! It’s the first brand new washer and dryer set that I’ve purchased (the set replaced a 20 yo set) and I am pleased with it so far.

We wanted a washer that had an agitator. So far we are pleased with the washer. It spin drys the clothes so well that it is not damp. I'm so happy with that. My other washer did not even when we bought brand new. Love the app. It lets me know when the cycle is finished and if I have left the clothes in the washer so I don't forget.
