I can’t say if it is a good product or...
I can’t say if it is a good product or not, but I asked someone there very specifically for a water meter for my garden. He said this would do the job and it’s obviously not what I was looking for. They won’t refund me for the purchase and I don’t need this thing. It would be nice that they understood that the floor worker kinda messed up and they would simply be a better experience. I can’t give any comments either way about the quality of the product.

Works fine, but the pins are soft and bend and...
Works fine, but the pins are soft and bend and wear down fast. Replacement pins are available online for 12.00 a set of 4, nearly 1/3 of the total price. The pins should be cheaper and more readily available or made from harder steel that doesn't dull so quickly

So far it is reading fine
Tested it out on lumber I already had for over a year and it read 5.0. Tried it on lumber that just came back from the sawmill and it read 11.3. Seems to work fine.

The General pin type moisture meter is easy to use....
The General pin type moisture meter is easy to use. I bought it to check the moisture level in my deck boards for the purpose of staining with optimum conditions ( low moisture in boards< 10%). The pin type meters penetrate the skin of the wood and provide real time data. Good meter to buy.

DOES NOT WORK
NOT FULLY ASSEMBLED. POOR DESIGN. YOU HAVE TO SCREW IN SENSORS THAT DON'T FIT. IT BROKE WHEN I SCREWED IN THE FIRST SENSOR. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.

Should of never changed it from the old one, the...
Should of never changed it from the old one, the pins did not pick up moisture like the older model i have. No Good !
