I ordered this to trim some doors on an outdoor building. The saw worked well and came with clear instructions and safety reminders. Seems to be good quality at a fair price. Buying this corded saw was much cheaper than buying new batteries for my cordless saw. I would buy it again.

The cheap price point attracted me, but unfortunately the quality of the product reflects the price pt. You get what you pay for in this case. The saw is very unstable. It is difficult to make a precise cut as the saw vibrates when you use it. Also, it is difficult to install the blade correctly. It rubs against the blade guard most of the time, leading to vibrations and sparks. Finally, the lever locking the depth of the cut is Jenky. I've had it move on me while making cuts.

Had it over a month, so far so good. Ripped a 2 x 12 with no problem. Just hope it lasts longer than the last Craftsman, (about 1 hour of use).

This is not one of those cheap tools. Ithas been pretty reliable so far. Has worked for many projects.

It took almost an eternity to get from one store to another but after I got it I was happy.

I needed to purchase this saw because I was installing new a shelve system in my closets. Ordered it from Home Depot and it was delivered within 4 days free of charge. I found the saw very reasonably priced and just right for the job. It performs good clean cuts with the included saw blade. Strong performance from the motor and good safety features. I have not used it for industrial use but this is very good for home use.

I purchased this for light use. So far, I've only used it once, to cut up a pallet to burn in a chiminea. It cut through 1x and 2x pine with no problem, even using the 24T blade that came with it. I've not yet tried precision cutting where I needed to follow a line, nor have I used it with hardwood. Time will tell how it does there.

Easy to use and easy to put the blade on

After a bit of use the motor would not shut off. It went into a very slow RPM but took a giggle or two of the trigger switch to get it to shut off completely. I am returning this saw.

It is my first circular saw. Easy to use and works fine.

Saw is lightweight enough for sustained use. The "stay on" button is positioned for one handed control. Cuts and changes angles well. So far, no complaints..well priced..good buy. I'm pleased. Been using one month on a variety of exterior woods.

Owned about a month now, used twice for 2 x 4s and 1 x 3s. Lightweight and cuts smoothly. Compared to the one I replaced from another manufacturer, it's does the job. Will update in 6 months or so if rating changes.

Good sturdy tool for the price plenty of power i been cutting 2x10s no problem

Has performed perfectly. It has been used in rough environment cutting concrete pavers in a major project without a problem. Provides more than adequate power in any application. The Right price. Best performance. Exceeds my expectations.

I bought the Genesis for one job, and it worked perfectly. I'm set if I ever need this saw again...probably.

The spindle lock did not engage easily in first attempt.. I have to return the item.

This being my first circular saw, it has not been a disappointment. Truly, what a great piece of machinery. Though I cannot compare this circular saw against any other tool-makers, I can say that for my level of woodworking (beginner to intermediate), this saw has met every need of mine. It is solidly built, and all functions perform as expected. In two weeks it helped me build gate for my fence and a couple of saw horses without any problems or issues. I also bought an orbital sander from the same brand and it, too, has performed flawlessly. I am very pleased with this company thus far.
