Rather light-weight, but works okay.

Did not work at stopping water from going down insinkerator or bone crusher disposals. Quality is good and it does prevent food from going down the drain.

Opened up the package and it fell apart

Because these are the only options available at Home Depot, I have tricked myself into purchasing this product more than once - never again. They all break within two months of use at the same location. Please stop carrying this product - though it is cheap to purchase, you are guaranteed to need a new one in less than 6 weeks. It is a waste of resources, time, and money. I have literally thrown this product away three times -having hoped it was an anomaly and not wanting to make additional stops at other hardware stores. Please discontinue and replace with a product that is durable.

Fits sink as expected, but feels flimsy compared to the one it replaced; stopper doesn’t stay latched in open position when emptying food scraps.

Fits and works perfectly.

Easy to use. Perform as they should. Very economical. Would purchase again and recommend. Bring old ones to store to check fit is best way to make sure they do.

Over the past few years, I've purchased at least dozen of these, yet every single one of them fails to stay fully assembled. The press fit of the anchor at the bottom of the strainer always comes apart after a few weeks of use. Now, you say "why do you then keep buying it?" Well, it is because I find nothing else that fits and works at Home Depot! So, my solution is buy a new one and return the disassembled (broken) one for a refund at the same time. Repeat this process every few months. Of course, if you tell someone at HD that it is a DEFECTIVE product, nobody there knows how to deal with that. So, writing this comment is the only way left to tell everyone this product is CHEAPLY MADE and worth only the couple of dollars you pay for it. Do NOT expect it to last very long....it is junk.

this is a good product it does what needs to be done strains particles from sinkwater..good product at a good price

Like others reviewers said: the plastic plug is a little too short to fully seal. Using it just like a regular strainer.
