Nice raised garden beds
Giving this only four stars because the six top caps were not in box. I emailed company and if they send them to me I will change to five stars.
I am 66 female and these were easy to put together and nice and tall. Can’t wait for next summer to fill them with fresh veggies.
I hope they last a few years

Overall I liked the product. It saved me a lot of time. I bought both the finished wood and unfinished wood beds and found that the unfininshed wood went together easier, although the finished wood seemed to be a better quality. One of the planks on my unfinsihed planter box is warped. I'm hoping it straightens out. It was a little difficult putting this one together because they didn't finish the ends where they slide into each other. One end cracked a little, but not significantly. I ended up spraying the ends with silicone before inserting them and that helped. I put the whole thing together by myself in less than half an hour. They look pretty good, but I'm thinking I really didn't need them this tall for growing lettuce and other greens. The shorter ones would work just as well. I do wish they came with a plastic cover to grow greens in the winter. I will be making my own.

I would recommend this product, but be mindful of the “rough cuts”. The machined wood needs to be cleaned out BEFORE assembly. And if you are not careful, the end posts will split. It is a good product, just not exceptional.

Great buy. I bought 2 of these kits, and they worked better than I thought they would, I followed the recommendations of the reviews, cleaned the channels first with a putty knife. I stained them with Thompson's stain and waterproofing. Assembly only took about 30 minutes for both. Planted each with veggies, and so far so good. I do recommend tilling the soil, or at least turn it over first, then add soil to desired levels. I have been square foot gardening for over 30 years, and I would recommend Greene's Premium Cedar Raised Beds, for any level of gardener, from a beginner to the most experienced, they work great in small spaces. See the attached photos of my beds.

Overall this was a cost effective way to get a raised bet (when it was on sale). Packaging was good, and all the parts were included. It could be a little easier to assemble. The grooves aren't the smooth so in some instances you needed to apply a little more force to get the pieces to connect. In my opinion once this is assembled that is it, there is no breaking it apart without damaging it. It's all set in the backyard and now waiting for the plants to grow.

I bought this in spite of the negative reviews. I am glad I did. Sure the rough hewn boards and corners have rough edges, that is not unexpected. This is not fine furniture, it is a garden box. To over come the issue that others posted about when sliding boards into the corners, I used a broad flat head screwdriver to deburr each channel (see Picts). It took maybe 60 seconds per corner piece and made the assembly a piece of cake. The wood smells great, like cedar should and should hold up to the elements.
