Super easy to install.

You have to leave your finger on the bell to get it to work at all and then it only works half the time. When it does work it never plays the entire tune. Manufacturer says the transformer has to be putting out 18v. Ours is putting out 20v. If it's a diode issue then we received two bad diodes on brand new doorbells. Returned it and installed a regular ding dong doorbell that works just fine.

Love all the different tunes.

It was hard to sync with my Ring doorbell but Ring cust service talked us thru it. Nice asst of chimes, easy install otherwise.

I am unable to sinc the wired doorbell to my Ring. The previous Hampton Bay worked perfect for 8 years until chimes failed. Hopefully a you-tube will help with the problem. If not successful I will return item

Does not work with Energizer Connect doorbell. Tried every possible wiring combination, with and without diode, still did not work. Doorbell would ring continually and not stop without diode. With diode, doorbell camera would not stay powered on.

I needed a wired doorbell chime to connect with my video doorbell. When it didn't work, I contacted the support team. They told me to separate the doorbell from the video, which is impossible with the UniProtect system. As I was explaining that I could not separate the systems, they hung up. I called back and they immediately hung up. I then tried contacting Nutone thinking they might offer as system that worked. They immediately knew the systems were incompatible. So, I found a small company, BCS, that had a system which worked and provided accurate support.

Easy to install. Works fine

After finally getting the doorbell to work (we never could get it to work wirelessly) it has stopped working altogether after less than a year. My kids like the variety of songs, but not worth it at all if we have to buy a new one every year and it won’t work unless wired in to our home. By the way, we even had an electrician try to install it both ways. Very disappointing!

It was easy to install. And it has different bell sounds to choose from. No complaints.

I used it with a Google Nest Doorbell. The instructions from Hampton Bay and from Google weren't the best. The Hampton Bay requires a diode (included with the shipment) to delay the signal so that all 8 tones of the Westminster chime are heard. However, the nest doesn't work with the diode. What no one told you is that during set-up of the nest, there is a setting for a time delay. In this case it requires about 8 seconds and it did the trick. I had been ready to return this door bell.

Looks good, extremely easy to install and the wireless range is great. Also the volume control is a great addition.

For a price of $50+, this should come with a button that you can directly install or a better way to manage the circuit to play full tune. This has been a disaster with every smart doorbell and I had to resort to one that comes with another chime. So, I now have two doorbells and 2 different chimes :(

The product met my expectations and is functioning accordingly.

We have had to purchase 2 different Hampton Bay buttons but the doorbell is once again not working. The batteries have been checked and replaced numerous times. The chime only works after the button is pushed 5 or 6 times. I will be replacing the entire system now -- chime on the wall and button. Disappointed in this product.

This looks better than I expected and was fairly easy to install

Too many choices of melodies (haha). My old wired doorbell had the electronic mechanism in a custom box with fake chimes and was very attractive. So I pulled the guts out of this one, threw the cheap plastic cover in the recycle bin, and mounted this in the old box. Still looks great, and now it sounds great, too! Unfortunately it's mounted pretty high up in the foyer so unless I get out the 15' ladder I can't change the tune. Well worth the money and a good purchase. For the woodworkers, look at making a custom box with some brass pipes to dress it up. Otherwise the plastic box isn't that attractive.

I wish the speaker and sounds were higher quality.

Easy to install works great!!

This product was easy to install, since i had a wired bell already i went back with that but this one can also be a wireless bell.

We bought this doorbell since the chime on our old wired doorbell was broken. I liked the plain white and simple modern look and it was fun that it has 16 songs (including holidays), which my son LOVES. So it will be fun to change out. Be aware that this replaced our old wired doorbell system and it does not come with a doorbell button. Also, you HAVE to install the diode wire on the doorbell button itself or the CHIME WILL NOT WORK properly. It's easy to miss in the instructions. So, if you press the button and you hear the sound and when you let the button go the chime stops playing the song, you need to install the diode at the location of the doorbell itself. We found a helpful youtube on this and I did it myself in less than 5 minutes. (Handy girl) ;)

Installation was straightforward and the ring tone that I wanted was included. The bell case was large enough to cover over the profile of the old doorbell so that was a plus!
