[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make and sell Barn Quilts. It is imperative that when I say that my creations are all-weather proof, it needs to be so! I can count on Kills to prime the wood and protect the wood so I can paint it and it can hang outside through all weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have painted and repainted some shelves a half dozen times. Each time, the knots in the wood slowly start showing. We have about a dozen knots in the shelves that the Kilz All purpose can’t conceal. But this is what was recommended by the paint specialist at the store.

Foundation needed some TLC. Prepped the surface with a power wash, crack filling, scraping and brushing. Primer spread well via brush and roller. Only needed 1 well applied coat over the old paint and exposed concrete. Primer did great overnight. Next day finish paint/sealant went on top very easy. Will be using this primer in the future.

I mudded my walls and was worried if it would cover as well as having a dark previous color wall but it did a great job. Two hands and looks great dried quickly too low oder no complaints, picked up from store paid for it and off to prime my walls that simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Kilz 2 All Purpose Interior Primer to cover a blue room so we could paint it white. The primer coverage helped so much to reduce the amount of white paint needed for the room. (Sorry, no before photo).

Literally over 4 gallons of paint to cover one ceiling and it still isn’t even white. Completely horrible coverage I could cover about literally one square foot with every roller dip and needed almost 4 coats to get one ceiling already flat paint white. Completely wasted money. Did next room with one coat of $24 ceiling white from Sherwin with slight backroll and had some left of the single gallon. Ceiling white is 4 times better than a primer??? Complete trash!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I got tired of the old Oak Hutch and decided to update it by painting most of the Oak . We put a coat of Kilz 20 All-Purpose Interior / Exterior on the hutch after lightly sanding the sheen . This made applying the paint very easy . We were very pleased with the final product . I would recommend Kilz Products for any job you tackle . I’m sure you will love the finished product .

This stuff works great for sealing furniture! Did some signs and columns for a wedding. Came out great. Dries quickly

I used this to prepare my small front concrete porch for painting. Two coats and prep was done.

In dealing with different materials with different rates of absorption- like my father in law always said, “the primer adheres to the surface, the paint adheres to the primer” and he is 100% correct. Used KILZ as the primer for our NBYG youth group’s BEST OF SHOW- MAYOR’S CUP award winning Christmas Parade float to transform a custom-built wood/metal sleigh into a ‘JURASSIC PARK’ themed vehicle to get the most loveable dinosaur, Barney, to bring JOY to the kids young and old lining the route for the Murfreesboro, TN Christmas Parade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it by the 5gal buckets! Currently doing a full hone reno. It was awful inside! Urine, feces, food, vomit, pet odors, tobacco odors and stains on ALL CEILING AND WALLS! Definitely the epitome of a bad previous owner/tenant! After tearing out 2 layers of padding and carpets, the stains and stench was EVERYWHERE! Spots still wet still. Air drying and then wipe down of walls with TSP, then 2 or 3 coats of KILZ 2, LATEX. on the ceilings and walls and on floors. The stench and stains are gone!!! I'm a professional, I'm a general contractor. Been in trades long time, worked with many guys. Some love KILZ, others love competition brand. But after having used KILZ myself, on every one of my jobs ( that's many, I've lost count)! I'm a LOYAL KILZ user, and will continue to be! Please do not change the formula used in your products, as it is INCREDIBLY GREAT!! THANKS AGAIN, from a professional contractor. John M

One of the rooms did not have much overhead lighting and a dark red accent wall. The KILZ primer completely covered the coloring and allowed us to lighten up the room. I will be using this on another upcoming project!

It turned out nice using a paint sprayer. A nice even layer with a smooth surface and took care of all problems. I will definitely use this product in the future. I recommend using it to everyone I know.

Most recent job got it done quick. Water stains say go bye. Big line up to choose from for any project that the killz line can handle Killz2 my go to for everything.
