I returned the part as size does not fit with wall space. No problem with this part.

Perfect fit, easy set up.

It was easy to build and install the part what this thing I recommend to ad is a screen on the back side. It comes with the solid cover we can’t install solid cover for the reason it needs air for ventilation Now I need to get screen for the back side

It had to be modified as it did not sit flush and allow a drain.

AC unit is not working well. Air is not blowing cool. I will need to return.

Good product need some improvement back of the case

The sleeve is NOT compatible with the LG LT1236CER, despite Home Depot’s advice. Fitting the LG into the sleeve was a nightmare, even without the insulation and shims, which ripped apart anyway. The 1” shims block the AC installation due to lack of space. You’ll need some type of DIY shims to get the 1/4” slope needed for proper drainage. Forget adding a rear grill; it won’t fit with the AC’s rear protruding plastic louver. Without the grill, the AC’s back fins are left exposed, which isn’t ideal. After dropping $649 and wasting six hours, I’m left with a gaping hole and a botched job.

Two panels were very warped, parts were missing. It took quite a bit of work to make this kit usable.

Nice product, a little pricey

This is a must when you have a through the wall AC. The one issue I had is the screws that assemble the top, bottom and sides together interfered with sliding the AC into it. I just used a dremel and cut off a couple screw shanks that were hitting the unit. Other than that very well made and works great for our unit.

The unit is pretty well made and strong. The instructions for installation are a bit lacking, but I was able to make it work.
