Product man. date 2021 bought in 2024 installed and all batteries dead because of sitting in warehouse for 3 years.

Well made. Carefully packaged. Quickly shipped. Hint: If replacing old unit, don't try to use old mounting ring. Remove it and install the entire new unit.

Replaced our 10 year old ones, same as previous brand, but base plate was different. Reason i got these so i wouldn't have to rewire and didn't, hope these last as long as the other set did!

Love the flip battery holder - great design. Replaced 20 yrs old units made by Firex which was bought out by Kidde. I called them to get comparable model since you need to match the plugs. The 4 pack model matched but I needed 6 units. Unfortunately the 6 pack ones didn't so I had to replace the old pig tales with the ones provided that matched new detector pins. Straight forward - just make sure circuit breaker off.

The smoke detector are very reliable work very good easy to install.

Easy install and appear functional.

One of the detectors started chirping after less than a month, We took it down and put a new battery in it. It has again started chirping. This time we replaced it with another new Kidde detector and hopefully it won't happen again. We have to take a 12 ft ladder in to change it so it is a pain

The exact replacement for my 16 year old smoke detectors! Received in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price!

Most difficult order to place For one thing web site was too busy, Chaotic and hard to follow. I wanted detectors that had the 10 year lithium back up batteries. Had to return order which was fairly easy at your store in town. I replaced the order with the correct smoke detectors.

Delivery was delayed but other than that I was happy.

Five stars for the ease of installation and the placement of battery chamber as opposed to the ones I replaced which were a pain to change the batteries while standing on top of a ladder.
