[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator a couple months ago. Love the features. The only problem is that the freezer door came with a damaged seal. So we are still waiting for the replacement door (replacing entire door). Lot of condensation and ice chunks on internal parts. Door light is also sticking hopefully just due to the seal and all the extra frost inside.

would have given a 5 star, but i don't like is where cut-off switch for ice-maker is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought on December 2nd to replace the same model I purchased in 2002, yes to replace one that was 21 years old. I hope I get the same performance and longevity of the prior one. We love KitchenAid quality and have a dishwasher, standing mixer and food processor made by KitchenAid as well.

The first 1 delivered had insulation foam coming out all over and deemed a total loss. They replaced the refrigerator months later with one that arrived with a damaged door. After 3 replacement doors were shipped, we finally got one that wasn’t damaged. The water dispenser on the door worked less than 6 months. While I insisted they cover the parts under warranty, they still required me pay $134 diagnostic fee. Do not buy anything kitchenaid. The quality is terrible.

I bought this a week ago and it is built very cheaply. Drawers are difficult to open & not enough storage compartments on doors. Not enough skeleton options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice refrigerator. Makes some weird noises though. I like the ice and water features. Ice machine off switch is hard to get at. Has lots of storage. The wine rack is a nice touch.

Ordered in June. Was finally delivered on the 3rd scheduled date- in October. Delivery guys were polite. After a short time, the top 2 shelf items were not seeming cool enough. (Milk, etc.) So, I turned the fridge side down a degree. I thought maybe factory settings were not cold enough. Still not cold enough so I kept going down a degree at a time until I reached 33 degrees. Still not cold enough and seeming to get worse. Thanksgiving morning I took out pie crust to reach room temperature and it was already soft. Put a thermometer into fridge and it was 58 degrees! Called the Help line in the service booklet the next morning. 11/26 They tried to schedule it for 12/8! Moved it to 11/28 after hearing the issue. Tech came. Here almost 2 hours. Had to order parts. Scheduled to return today. 12/5. Auto confirm call yesterday afternoon. Then a lady called about 600 last night and the parts are not scheduled for delivery until 12/11 and wanted to come 12/12!! I have 2 appoints scheduled months ago so it was scheduled for 12/13-IF THE PARTS ARE IN THEN! Nearly 3 WEEKS after the initial call. I have had to throw away lots of food. I am making payments on this and it has only worked for maybe one of the 3 months I have had this. They do keep sending me emails and letters to sell me extended warranties. No pressure there. THIS IS AWFUL!! We really liked the fridge when it came and it looks beautiful in my kitchen but IT DOESN"T WORK!!!!! and the service is horrible! I would not recommend this product or the service provided by Whirlpool/KitchenAid. I have never had anything like this happen before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 19 year old Kitchen-Aide side by side with this newer model of the same thing. The ice maker has been improved, which was the only drawback to the old model. With the side by side, we have a ton of space and don't have to bend over always to get things out of the freezer. The printshield finish is as advertised. Easy to wipe it clean with out using stainless steel cleaner. The sides are grey and we prefer black, but it only came with that option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an extremely quiet refrigerator. This is my first frig with an ice and water dispenser in the door. I will not get another dispenser like that. The ice is mostly crushed even though set on cube and residual ice in the chute drips a little water so I have to dry it up after each use. The drip tray is very shallow. Ice forms on the freezer door inside and on the wall next to it. I have to scape it off weekly.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am very happy with the new refrigerator. The lighting is much brighter in the new model, and the shelves seem deeper and easier to access. The only complaint that I would have is that the vegetable and fruit drawers ( at the bottom of the fridge ) seem flimsy. The plastic roller component of the drawer is not as sturdy as my previous Kitchen Aid refrigerator. The drawers do not close as easily vrs my previous Kitchen Aid refrigerator.

Pros: it has lots of space for my needs, it's quiet compared to my old fridge, the control panel on the front is easy to figure out, the ice maker refills fairly quickly, the outside is easy to keep clean (doesn't show most fingerprints), and it has a wine rack inside. Con: the water filter doesn't last a long time. I really like the KitchenAid brand.

The refrigerator did not work at all when it got here then a replacement was delayed over a month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the inside of the refrigerator. The shelves and the drawers. I like the freezer and the space I have to store food. I like the controls on the outside which inform you about the amount you are using of water and ice.

I bought this model refrigerator in August, 2023. Within one month, the refrigerator stopped cooling. A Repairman fixed it but it’s torn up again. I’m not happy at all. Food is too expensive to keep losing it!
