[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying the Kitchen aid stove. The oven works great and has all the features. The cook top is great to cook on. My only wish is that the stainless steel was of a better gage. I must be cautious to allow anyone to clean the surface but myself. I have a Kitchen Aid cooktop in Las Vegas and the Kitchen Aid Slide range in Maine. Both have the same issue. They scatch very quickly, and I must let them soak before cleaning them after cooking a big meal.

Bought this 2 years ago. We reported issues with the unit and had a service agent out to look at it. The convection fan wouldn’t spin and the oven didn’t keep proper temperature. Service agent said he saw it spinning but couldn’t get it to replicate it I front of me. We called kitchen aid to report the problem was not fixed immediately. We had some personal things with our children come up which distracted us from addressing this again. Because too much time has passed they refuse to stand behind the product and address the issues that they were notified of in a timely manner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this range. I like the streamlined look.The burners work well and I like the controls in front. The oven seems fine, and I am learning about the convection option and steam feature. The griddle is narrow but does work well for pancakes...easy and fun to use. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the stovetop grates are not convenient to lift for wiping clean underneath. They are semi fitted together which means you have to fumble with taking them apart or lift the whole thing which is awkward and a bit heavy, also if you have any pot or kettle on the stove, and the griddle, you must move them off first. Otherwise, the stainless steel is easy enough to keep clean. One other mention is that the front burners are the strong ones, with one small one at the back. I think it would be better if there was one strong burner and one small burner in front, and in the back could be a couple of medium-strong burners.

We've had issues with this appliance from the get go. The front right burner wont light on its own. Its like it has the wrong burner plate on it. The dials on the front don't line up with off position, they also easily turn on. So super unsafe. My daughter barely nudged the dial and our kitchen started to smell like gas.The dial for the middle long burner is peeling. even though we've never used it before. We have had two different fault codes come up in the last 6 mos. And its just 2 years old. Super disapointed in this appliance. Our old appliances were jenn air and they lasted 14 years. Shows the lack in quality.

Warming drawer turned on by itself. Luckily we were home. Smoke and burn smell filled the air. All electrical turned off. The heating element was on broil. We were not using the stove or oven at the time. This could have been a house fire if we were not home! It's 3 1/2 years old.

Only issue or feature I would like to see is a way to turn the control panel on or off so i don't have to worry about my cat starting to bake something in the oven while I'm out.

The only issue I have is with how sensitive the touch controls are. I need to keep it “locked” whenever I’m not using it because if someone touches it they can accidentally turn the oven on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the gas range for 1 month now. Never cooked with gas before. I love it ! The range is very accurate with cooking speed any times. Love that baking drawer and also love that larger gas eye that boils water quickly.

I was so exciting to purchase a KitchenAid stove on Jan. 4th. It wasn't installed until the end of Feb. due to a remodel. The warmer drawer was sticking out, therefore the warmer could not keep food warm. It took 4 trips from the service rep. to fix the problem. The griddle is losing its coating. I called the warranty department June 4th & 29, part is backordered (more than 30 minute wait). Was then sent to parts department and would have to purchase it. Not happy with the company after purchase

For example- steam baking for authentic Italian bread that I could do manual but great to have this feature. Convection baking is another level to explore and learn new recipes. This is not just your basic oven and cooktop. It’s next level!

There is a major design flaw on almost all Kitchenaid gas cooktops. The sand on top where you sit your pots is too high up from the flame. The stand should be low to allow the flame direct touching the pot for optimum heat transfer and efficiency. Instead, if your pot sits too high and the flame is not touching. It's the flame heating up the air and radiate heat going to pot. Not only it's not efficient, waste your energy, the massive amount of burning heat is heating up air and run away upwards. The how air will heat the range fan above extremely hot in some situation. My range fan/microwave comble unit's handle will get so hot that burns my hand. Very dangerous.

This oven I have is electric with the gas range top. The oven takes forever to get to temperature and it is off by about 10 degrees when using an oven thermometer. If you open the door for a few seconds, it takes forever to get back to temperature. I would not recommend if you do a lot of baking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove to replace a horrible Italian model, if I said I love it, that would be an understatement! The ease of using this stove is ridiculous! No long time wait for it to ignite, no guessing if the oven has stayed lit, it works the way it’s supposed! And the convection feature, well all I can say is- amazing! The warming drawer has been used regularly, AND you can bake in that drawer as well! I can’t say enough good things about this stove. Yes I love this stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since being installed the oven has never worked. I contacted Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool to see about repairing but haven’t heard back anything from them.

My new range arrived a few days ago. The gas fitter removed all the blue tape, which tape left lines and messy marks on the stainless on the top front of the range. The marks aren't sticky, it appears they are because the tape had been on the range for so long. The marks do not go away with wiping with a dry cloth. No cleaning product samples came with the stove. I contacted the appliance store, who advised me twice that Whirlpool techs would be contacting me and would attend to clean the marks. There was no follow up from Whirlpool. I contacted the store again and was told to clean it myself. I'm very disappointed that I have a brand new range with marks on the top front of the stainless that cannot be easily wiped away, with no product samples to attempt to clean it myself.

Had to wait 6 months for delivery due to Covid issues. I'll preface the review with the fact that my husband picked out the KitchenAid suite of appliances based on appearance and his impulsive nature. I just got a Happy One Year Anniversary email from KitchenAid. So I have working knowledge of the appliances. KNOCK WOOD there have not been any repair issues needed. BUT, there small issues add up to much dissatisfaction. 1-The "baking" drawer is NOT for baking but good for warming. Tried to do double duty baking during the holidays-No way. 2- The oven cleaning method is awful. Just a hot, wet mess. 3- The electronic controls are so close to burners that every splash of grease or liquid lands on the controls, AND they panel is not "happy" about me cleaning the panel - constantly beeps as I wipe and dry. 4- The burner knobs are on the front just above oven door. Unless you are at the range you can't tell if a burner knob is off or on. Many times my husband has turned the burner to low and I come to clean hours later and find the burner on, sometimes with the pan still there. 5- And I have, more than once brushed against the front while carrying laundry and discovered the gas was on without a flame. 6- The stainless top must be only a grade or two above aluminum foil. Trying to clean the top from grease or spills, there are numerous scratches from the dish cloth. And Heaven forbid you accidently touch the top with a iron grate. My range top looks older than it's one year. 7- The cast iron grates DONOT clean up at all. I have grease marks that are permanent now partly because no-one but me ever cleans as they spill. I haven't attempted the convection feature, no reason. Plus trying to sort through the directions is arduous, which I had to print from the internet because KitchenAid deems it unnecessary to include an owners manual. Never in my life have I purchased an appliance that had NO manual. BUT I did receive a kit to use with the oven cleaning feature, a sponge .8- I don't want to forget the griddle. Only successful function so far is to warm, lightly toast a hot dog bun. Not good for pancakes or anything that requires regulated cooking temperatures. 9- I have timed this.The oven takes 15 minutes to come to temperature. I have used gas ranges my entire life and expect a bit loner for gas to heat but my expectation was much sooner for electric. I was wrong, so now I plan my meal prep with an extra 15 minutes. So to sum it up, if all you need is a cooktop that you don't care about cleaning, and a hot oven that you can't use oven cleaner to get the baked on grease, this is a good product, both gas/electric is convenient. And it matches the DW and Refrigerator which is the main reason my husband bought the suite..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After delivery it was discovered the bottom warming drawer didn’t open so a warranty request was placed. Turns out the drawer sliders were not attached to the frame. This was corrected by the service call.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new home- took manufacturer two weeks to come out after the builder installed it saying it’s a manufacturer issue. They came out and said they would be back in touch since it baffled the service technician that it still smelled like chemicals after it ran for 18 hours or more in addition to the manufacturer instruction burn off. There is some leak or something and they need to replace this brand new stove. Unbelievable. They don’t care. Kitchen Aid if you do care about your product you would switch this out. DR Horton says it’s your problem.

I’ve not used the steam feature yet. I am researching that!! The warming drawer is definitely a nice feature. It is a nice size and keeps food at an expected warm temperature.

Need to have this addressed but just try to get through to KitchenAid customer service. You have a better chance at winning the lottery. So sorry I bought this range. BTW, I could not use the nickname disappointed because it had already been used. Does that tell you something!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wanted to love this oven, but the second oven (lower). You can really only get small cookie sheets and or very low dishes. Clearance is a major issue, and heating is very uneven if you can get something in that oven. The big (upper) oven is excellent, but I really wish it had a cooking probe. My last oven did and I loved that feature.
