Love the precuts. Easy install

Easy to install and better looking than puffy fiberglass insulation. As for performance, I'm a little disappointed. After much research we added reflective foil against the door in addition to this product. On a 93 degree day (southeast facing doors) the temperature difference was only about 5 degrees... not as much as expected but better than nothing. Have not been through winter yet.

Easy to install, just trim the length with the knife. Thermal insulation definitely works!

The product is very good and I’m happy with it. There is some cutting involved which wasn’t hard, two boxes are needed for a standard garage door.

Yes it did meet my expectations. I first installed it on my one car garage door to test it. The temperature drop between my one car garage door and my two car garage door was 6 degrees taken at the same time and from the same height panels. It’s a bit messy to cut, but not a big problem. I’ll be ordering two more cartons of it for my two car garage door. The first carton arrived at my local HD store on time and undamaged .

Great product easy to assemble to bad it doesn’t came in 1 inch thick. For doors that won’t except an inch and a quarter

The panels were easy to install, we used double sided tape just to make sure they would stay secured. It took about eight hours total to install three boxes. Panels were installed in early summer and it seems to be keeping the garage interior cooler.

Very easy to install, trim to size, put in place. I completed it in one hour!

This product is great. It has lower my garage temperature. If I had to guess, I would say up to 20 degrees cooler. It gets the hot afternoon to evening sun. I can step into the garage now, without the heat..5 stars.

I had to go get a single sheet at Lowe’s and I liked the cheaper brand better.

These aren’t so hard to install. I have a double garage door with braces covering the panels, and two sets of braces covering the top row of panels. The hardest part was removing and replacing the braces. Yes, you’ll get a LITTLE bit of Styrofoam to clean up, but not much if you do it right and don’t go nuts or get frustrated. Best bet is to use “utility knife heavy duty box cutter retractable with industrial grade 18mm snap off blades” (search on that) and PULL the knife toward you, with the blade extended deep enough to cut all the way through. After your first pass, it should cut all the way through on the second pass and the knife will follow your first cut. Make sure you have the panels on top of wood or, like me, about four layers of thick cardboard so you don’t cut the underlying surface. Be sure to use a strong straight edge to brace the knife against so you maintain a straight line. It’s amazing how good a job these folks did at scoring the reverse side of the panels. There is just enough give lengthwise and height wise to get these things in. The result looks fantastic – so much better than the original panels. The garage door is also MUCH quieter. I didn’t need to adjust my opener for the added weight (less than 20 pounds for 16 reduced panels). I can’t attest to the insulation ability yet but there’s little doubt it will make a difference on my Georgia south-facing garage door.

Although this product didn’t work for me I could see how it could work for others. My garage does not have the same rails to hold the product in place. We decided to use adhesive to hold it up but the foam would just tear off. Like I said probably great for a different garage type. Be sure yours is exactly like they show in the video.

The ease of placing these panels into our garage door, along with the difference in the temperature of our garage, is enough for us to highly recommend this product.

Easy to measure and cut. I live in Las Vegas with a south-facing dark brown garage door. Inside steel sheeting surface temperatures already reached 130 in may. With the matador panels the average surface area read only 93. That with a portable air conditioner I can knock down a solid 25 degrees off from our hottest days.

I am not handy at all, so I am telling tell you its pretty easy. I did not try to force anything to fit; however, I made a cut at the end of each piece of 4 inches and Bingo EazyPezy. I have already noticed a difference in temps in my garage. Go for it

Measure twice and cut once for perfect fit. Dropped garage temperature by 20 degrees. Wonderful project and garage looks great!
