Last update I did on this system was in '07 when a motor went out on one installed in'94. I have used it on a switch to draw cooler air into house in the evening if not using ac. The '07 was rated to move something like 1600 sqf . The box stated 2800 sqf so hoping for a more air flow. This unit moves 1/3-1/4 the amount of air so called comany, he said to make them energy effecient, they lowered the rpms. When I questioned how it is rated to cool a larger area but move less air he wanted me to tell him the rpm of the previous unit (he looked it up on a computer but refused to tell me). Since I didn't memorize the rpm was given attitude, perhaps since I'm femal he thought I was too dumb to know anything. Still don't understand how it can cool a larger area but move less air. Do like the hardware cloth around the outside is a 100% improvement over the '94 model but give it 0 star for lack of air movement, -0 star for customer service. Just bring back the less energy effecient motor, really they don't use that much energy to begin with.

So far, I love it. The fan was easy to install (especially since I was replacing an existing fan). The unit is very quiet, which translates to being well balanced and efficient. So basically, I'm happy.

Worked as represented, easy install and although I was concerned about it being able to stay dry in the attic, it proved its design here, as we experienced a torrential down pour right after I had installed it, I kept confirming that is was staying dry, and it did not let a drop pass into the attic. Very easy to install, the thermostat worked well and we added a smart plug to remotely monitor and control as needed. We have a Square D Wiser energy monitor and this setup was immediately recognized and it is reporting when ever the fan comes on line and the wattage used. So far this simple fan has reduced the run time on our high cost 5 ton A/C systems literally paying for itself. This is probably one of the best things you can do to reduce your energy costs immediately and add to your summer comfort. I am actually considering adding another one in another area of the house.

Fan is quiet, seems to work very well, blends nicely with gray shingle.

Works as expected. Matched the roof shingles satisfactorily, so good design IMO.

I installed 2 1200CFM Masterflow attic fans 20 years ago. Worked great but for the last 3 years they started to rattle so time to replace with new roof. Only could get the 1500 CFM in stock but that is OK. Larger than I needed but now no more rattling.

This master flow 1500 is very noisy.I just bought this.I'm wondering what minute it's going to quit.

Very good product Nice and quiet dose a great job

Replaced a burnt out motor after a bird got caught in blade. Don't like that motor does not have reset button on it. But other than that decent for smaller size house 860 sqft.

Roofers installed it and came back the following week to wire it and the motor is no good. Waiting for a new one to come in that the roofing company ordered and hopefully Home Depot will take this back

Very quiet and work great

Died within 2 weeks and had to pay AGAIN for a reinstall.

Happy with these fans on all my new roof installations!! A must for all homes!!

Paid to have it installed and it ran continuously. Having to buy a different one and pay to have it installed. Then return this junk for refund.

This fan was easy to install, and runs very quiet. I expect the impact on lowering cooling costs will be more evident next cooling season, since this unit was installed in the Fall season.
