I had to knock the dents out. Was still left with 2 dents. Had contractor on site and ready for install so I couldn’t return it. Make sure you look at it beforehand!

After installation, the attic became immediately cooler. The fan is quiet and I can barely hear it after I close the attic pull-down ladder. Two days later it was raining hard. I noticed a tiny leak (one drop every 10 sec). Called the contractor back. It is not an installation issue, but a fan design issue. There is a screw on the body of the fan, facing upward. When water comes down, it'll bump the fan body and jump up slightly, seeping through the screw. The contractor caulked the screw.

I've purchased Many of the GAF Master Flow power vents and several years ago I purchased them because the motor had lifetime warranty but I noticed on this one it's only a five year warranty so they're easy to install and simple to put Power to but I can't say how long it's going to last or its durability because it's only been installed for one week. If you have a difficult home to ventilate and you need positive airflow I highly recommend installing a power vent. They definitely remove heat for a minimal amount of cost. As a professional roofer of 30 years when the home has ventilation issues that ridge vent can't solve powered vents do the job. Solar Vents do work but they are subject to the Sun. In Texas it can be a hundred degrees and a cloudy day that solar vent will barely move.

Easy to install, well constructed, smooth and quiet running, only time will tell if it out-performs the 30 year old one that this replaced.

Easy to install, about an hour, quiet and moves a lot air!

The product was easy to mount and wire. At first, it seemed that it wasn't working but when I adjusted the thermostat a bit lower, it did kick on and run as described. It moves a lot of heat and humidity out of a big attic space. In my case, the hole in the roof from a previous turnstile stack exhaust was a little bit too small but gave me a starting point to use a reciprocating saw and make a larger hole in the roof surface, this was surely the most difficult part. I used elastomeric waterproofing to seal it after installation, then further coated the area with elastomeric white roof paint. Two storms later, still dry.

Easy installation, I watched a couple of youtube videos before doing the installation myself, and it was really easy. This product has worked for me so far, I installed it about a month ago and it has helped reduced the heat in my house. As far as lowering the electricity bill by reducing the amount of time the A/C is running, that is hard to tell because this last month has been hot, hot, Texas hot.

I have not had it fully installed (the electrical has not been done yet), but one of the fans was delivered badly dented. There was already a hole int he roof, and I couldn't wait another week or more for a replacement, so the handyman pounded out the dent so that the unit will function. Not happy about that!

I'm very pleased with this fan, it is very inexpensive and powerful at the same time. Before installation I've learned to tighten the 4 bolts on the top of the hood before installation, for some reason they come loose from the factory and I did not know this until I had a client call me complaining about the fan making noise just 5 days after installation. Other than that, Great Product.

Excellent product, nice and quiet, good price. Color matches my roof. Box was crushed so the top was dented. I pushed the dents out cause fan blades were rubbing has minor ripples but hard to notice from the ground.

Installed but haven't connected it to the power source. Will up date afterwards.

Just installed, it operates as it should so satisfied so far.

The installation instructions were straight forward so installation wasn't difficult. So far it is working fine and seems quieter than the old attic fan it replaced.

Quality product. Great installation instructions. No vibration from the two I installed on an existing shingled roof. I would definitely buy this product again.

Works great. Easy to install.

Made a huge difference on my A/C performance.

My roofer friend installed it for me and it took him about 30 minutes, he said it works fine. So will see if my AC works less now.

As title states, the enclosed thermostat didn't work. I had to use my old one. The generated a large amount of frustration and uncalled for troubleshooting. Hopefully the motor lasts (replacing a 15 year master flow. ) Also, the wire instructions had the wrong the black/white from motor going to the wrong connection. Follow the instructions on their Y*utube page. I will contact their customer service for a new thermostat. Disappointed.

Its worth every penny

This is the 3rd install I have done. These are easy to install and run very smooth and quiet.
