Larger than the 6" round being connected to, left a lot of play at the joint. Fit fine on the 4" side and pretty well constructed, doesn't rattle or vibrate.

This reducer really did the job. This along with a 10 x 6 enabled me to use an existing much larger vent in my attic to reduce down to the vent from my bathroom fan. Works great!

6 inch to 4 inch reducer is more like 6 1/4 inch to 3 3/4 inch. The things I need to attach it to is 3 3/4 inch, so it matches perfectly with no ability to overlap without having to modify the product.

I have found among the DIY stores. The Home Depot in general, has a little more edge then the others. As an HVAC DIY'r. A lot of the pipes and fittings have a tad more precision in specifications.

Oh this is the greatest reducer on the market! Not only does it out preform the others I had but it's a good looking piece of pipe. It's almost sexy! It accepts paint like no others. It's is made of nothing but USA metal. No China metal here. Fits perfectly with no modification required.
