It would be more correct to call this a potting mix. It is certainly not a good texture for starting seeds. There are too many sticks and twigs, and large perlite pebbles. The peat moss had lots of clumpy lumps. I found Jiffy Organic Seed Starting Mix to be far better. It has a much smoother consistency and the vermiculite is quite fine. It is much easier to fill the seed starting trays with the Jiffy Mix. Do yourself a favor and get the Jiffy mix for starting seeds.

Great for starting seeds. I use it from starting coleus, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.

Really helps when sprouting seeds. My tomatoes were up in 5-7 days! Well blended, very fine soil, makes it easy to get my garden started before Spring!

Too expensive by weight to use much - are you sure you can justify within your reputation for bringing “customer value” (hi quality at low price)?

Reported some basil plants we bought at the grocery store. So far so good…

This Product will not absorb any water. It just runs straight through the cup .

First time using it and it did make the seed sprout faster and a larger percent of them.

It works the way it says it will. I am planting some seeds for the garden this spring under the grow light. working good so far.

Great soil mix, does not draw gnats!
