the package I rec'd was just dust

I use this as an orchid potting medium and it’s not as clean as the compressed type moss that I’ve used in the past. I ended up discarding about 20% of strings and straw-like pieces.

not so sure about this product for my orchids. way too many sticks in with the moss. would not purchase again.

I really needed the moss and home Depot was the only place that had the right amount for the price. So, that being said after I got it. It looks like hay. And not really fluffy much, more like kushy bag of well kneaded hay.. so softer than hay but harder than what you would assume moss feels like. I'd be willing to try a fresher bag of it TBH. But yeah that's my opinion on the bag I got.. I wouldn't be surprised if the bags of them were sitting there in the store for maybe a year or more

This was much smaller than I thought and cost as much as the giant bags of peat moss.

I was happy my local store carried it, but IMO it was a waste of money. I used it to make a moss pole for my Monstera. Once wet, this moss smelled SUPER FOUL. Like, bad enough that every time I would get a whiff of it, I'd gag. I do not recommend it and wish I would have never used it. Upon searching google, it suggested that the smell might be from mold/mildew. If that's true then I exposed my old and very healthy plant to it. Very disappointed.

I put together a miniature town for my annual haunted house. This stuff almost exactly matches the color and density of the original base pieces. Excellent for hiding electrical cords.

I ordered this sphagnum peat moss on the app. I was shocked to see how small it is. Although it gives the “weight” in inches it was still much smaller than expected. It does work good tho

my plants love it and its looks very good! its also really easy to use
