The sweedish red decking is beautiful. I used the hidden fastener system and it was fantastic to work with. My deck is amazing and one of a kind in the area.

I ordered this product in 'Roman Antique' after much review, deciding I liked the manufacturing information for quality, 4-sided composite material, etc. I also liked the color options for my decking/stair project and ordered the Magellan, Columbus and Fascia items in ONE complete order along with the necessary hardware for my entire project. The boards are listed as 5 1/2" wide, which I verified with the display in my local store of the exact item prior to ordering. Over the course of nearly 3 weeks, my order finally arrived at my local store for pick-up - several different dates and individual PO's, as opposed to everything arriving together in one order - not the best of situations, but as long as you know this ahead and have patience... Once my entire order was in, I was disappointed to find that none of my boards measured the expected 5 1/2" width. In fact they were even inconsistent in width. At best, I could only calculate an average of 5 7/16" width - some were only 5 3/8". The other disappointment is that the color was inconsistent between both Magellan and Columbus boards as well as the fascia - all supposed to be designed to match. Note the photos attached - as long as you're aware of these types of issues and are prepared to calculate your project accordingly, it is a nice product.

This ‘wood’ is HEAVY and expensive, so you won’t want to make any mistakes in using it. Get a new saw blade before cutting and DON’T cut corners and not predrill! If you’re using it for stakes, pound with rubber mallet, not a hammer. Too early in my usage to discuss color fade.

Would be nice if just once the order would come complete… spent thousands on this product from HD and still have not received the completed order.

Worked perfect for my project

Product was what I expected, and this order was delivered on time. I did have another order that I placed with which I had issues and several calls to customer service only yielded a determination that the order was still on it's way and in process. Since nobody at Home Depot that I contacted about this concern took the time to call and find out about this, I finally called directly to the factory and found out that the order was in fact not on it's way, but after my call it shipped the next day and arrived a day later. Even with the delay, I could have started my project a week earlier had someone actually looked into the issue I had.

It looks really good but you have to be careful with it or you can scar it up. Looks like recycled plastic could be a little cheaper. Besides that, I like using it. I like the T2 screws to hold it down using the groves.

I needed ONE solid "board" of relatively inert material which would last much longer than pressure treated wood and from which I could fashion a threshold. I wanted a style of material that had no linear grooves on one face. I was able to use my table saw to rip this board down to the needed width and rip off the grooves on each edge. I was able to rip a 45 degree angle on one edge to make a more "foot friendly" leading edge for my threshold. The color of the surface and throughout the interior matched closely the concrete color that I needed. It cut quite well using my standard carbide toothed table saw blade. It drilled and countersunk very well in order to secure it with concrete anchors. All in all I could not have found a better product to meet my needs. I am confident that it will function in this particular application better than any other material that I might have found.

I'm not sure who along the line did it, but three or four of the pieces were badly gouged. I had to order three new pieces and the job will have to wait weeks for the material to come in. The material itself looked good and installed easily.

So far very happy with product. Previously used timber tech and had problem with defective boards. While timber tech did replace affected boards same problem seems to be occurring with replacements. Only time will tell if my happiness is justified.

The porch deck looks great with the new decking material. Its worth the expense. The delivery time was prompt. Going to pick it up was another story.
