Purchased in store for replacement. Didn't see the picture on web site, so I had to figure out the double nut top configuration. Needed an additional piece (T-washer?) that I was able to take from the old and put into top of this. Without this piece it would have leaked like crazy. New installs need to buy this additional washer. Also had to take hardware from the old for the bottom coupling to the "P" trap. The double nut top makes this 9" long. Had to cut to fit the 8" advert size.

The nut openings are too big for the gasket and will not seal properly.

Too many parts that didn't fit the application

Found it for less at a local supply house.

Store worker was helpful

This product does the job. If you don’t like or need disposals this is the best way to drain your dishwasher without adding its own drain. Keep in mind though that over time the small opening can get clogged and make need removed and cleaned out. But not that often.

The part worked great. It was even easier ordering online and picking it up in a locker at the store.
