The 3 inch pipe boot repair did not serve my purpose. I have a 3 inch pipe but the base of my pipe was 4 inch so the 3 inch pipe boot did not work. I have bought several boot repairs for my 2 inch pipes and they were great.

This product is so simple and durable I can't believe they don't just use these when they install new shingles. The PVC can't tear and leak like regular rubber boots used on waste stacks.

It's a bit expensive for 3 plastic pieces, but it will serve the function. I had to cut down my plumbing vent pipe to make it work, as designed.

The 3 inch was the wrong size, returned it to the closest Home Depot, no problems customer service was great! Re-ordered the 4inch. Once it arrived it went on in no time, works great, simple assembly.

Rain water was running from the roof down to the basement along the vent pipe. There was a crack in the sealant that the roofers installed around the pipe. This crack is where the water was getting into the house. This boot has completely resolved that issue and the basement has remained dry even during the heaviest rain storms. Very quick and easy installation. Five Stars!!!

The old boot was chewed on and we replaced them. Seems to be working well.

The boot itself is a very nice design. However, I hit a snag when installing them. Unfortunately my vent pipes had been trimmed shorter than the minimum length specified. I remedied the problem by using an internal coupler adding a length of 3” PVC pipe. Installation was then a snap.

This product was just what I needed. Easy to install.

The boot worked as expected and was fairly easy to install. A relatively cheap fix for a nagging leak problem.

Fits pretty good, it did stop the water from leaking inside.

This was so easy (once we figured out how to get on the roof safely)! All we had to do was slip it over our existing vent pipe and we were done. We went ahead and sealed around it as well since we didn't want to have to get up there again any time soon. We have had some heavy rains in the last few weeks and not a single drop has come in the attic! For the price and time spent fixing, you really can't beat this.

Just put boot over the pipe and done. Had to cut down one pipe because it was too tall but not a big deal. A lot easier than trying to get the old boot off and put down a new one without breaking some shingles

Easy install. Could have been a little tighter fit. Used a tube of roof asphalt to seal inside diameter. Also made a bead of asphalt around the pipe so it would hold the boot in place.

This product was born from pure genius. The install was simple and fast. Getting on and off the roof took longer than installing the PermaBoot.

The boot was fast and easy to install. I’m a 64 y.o. grandmother who had no problem installing whatsoever!

I needed six of these. I've had squirrels eat away at the lead pipes causing possible leakage issues. These boots were easily fitted and offer protection and cover to the damage that was done. A little more expensive than other solutions I saw, but well worth the money due to convenience and application.

Very easy to install; a "cap" that slips on the very top of the vent pipe ensures any rain or snow falling straight down from the sky falls down inside the vent pipe, and can't run down between the outside of the vent pipe and the inside of the "boot." That's a nice extra layer of protection. One tip - vent pipes come in a variety of sizes, so if you aren't positive about the size on your home, measure first. This product is sized based on the inside diameter of the vent pipe.

The boot was very easy to install after I shortened the PVC roof vent pipe to fit the boot’s height.
