Had the predecessor to this product for almost 20 years. It blew one of its gaskets and I needed a replacement, now so I bought the same thing. I'll rebuild the old one and then I'll have two because sometimes you need multiple nail lengths. This job was weathered oak but, it seems more like tool steel. I don't remember a single misfire

After my old finish nailer quit, I bought this one. It is easy to use and works well to drive finish nails. So far, I have used it to nail up some base and door trim in a newly remodeled room. For this application, it worked as expected. I did notice that the air pressure needs to be set properly to get the desired depth of the nail into the trim. There is also a depth dial on the gun to set the nail depth. This takes a little tweaking as different trims have different compositions. I left the non-marring tip on the nailer which is a nice feature for keeping the trim looking good. The nail release is easy to use in case you want to change to a different length of nail. The exhaust channel can also be moved to keep it away from your face. Also, note that this nailer is designed to be used without oil.

I’ve always liked portal cable guns, quiet and reliable

Works well and enjoy the onboard nail depth selector, belt hook, and easy nail loading design. One negative (dropped from 5 star to 4 star) is that the air quick connect leaks (unlike any of my other nailers).

After learning that not all angled nails will work in all pneumatic nailers I purchased the correct angle nails. After that the nail gun worked extremely well. Don't spare the oil as frequent oiling is needed in all pneumatic nail guns.

The rubber tip was just what I wanted for keeping these finish pieces nice.

After shooting 1000's of nails still no problems and works great.

Lightweight and easy to use

Two nails and broke. Made me miss a day of work.

This Porter Cable 15-Gauge nailer has worked perfectly so far without any misses or problems. Have only ran about 500 nails through it so far.

Purchased, drove 50 miles to jobsite. Hooked up gun….and air just blows through it…massive leak. Zero quality control. Shot 20 nails, leak kicked on compressor every 2 minutes. Returning. As a contractor with every brand of nailer but good experence with Porter-Cable…this was a fail and made me pause to read reviews. My P-C air guns have proven lightweight, ergonimic and lasted 20 years…2021 gun lasted 1 minute. Shame on the manufacturer and retail store.

I am a building contractor, and have been using nail guns for 30 years. I have many different types and brands. Recently one of my 15 ga. Porter Cable guns died(15years old and a great gun). Figured I'd just get another PC. Cheap feel, cheap case, very bad depth adjustment wheel, and couldn't sink a nail in 3/4" oak attached to 2x4 fir consistently. Nowhere near the power of the old gun. Returned it the next day. Bought a Hitachi that works great. Also own a Senco and a Bostich.

Real good i laike it to work

Great nailer! More compact and lighter than the DA250A I am replacing.
