Love this product. Have it all over the yard bordering my trees. I then put Calico stones or the like around the base of the trees. Love it's flexibility. Most recently using it to put rocks under fence line. See pictures. Only negative is that they don't supply nearly enough of the plastic stakes with this edging, thus requiring you to buy extras at a very hefty price.

I placed in few minutes and hoping it will endure longer years.

Dimex Garden Edging, simple, inexpensive solution to edge pathway or garden but not perfect. I received the Dimex Garden Edging, 40 ft, through the Home Depot Seeds Program in exchange for a fair review. This product was received within 7 days of ordering and came rolled in a box, which made it somewhat difficult to install. The Dimex edging is a scalloped black plastic, 1.5 inches in height and although it is far more attractive than the straight plastic edging available in retail stores, this product is very difficult to install and straighten. I repainted it with a bronze waterproof primer spray paint to go with my color scheme but I am not sure how long that will last with my sprinkler system and changes in weather. Time will tell. Other than the curling issue the edging is fairly easy to install. Included in the box was 16 plastic stakes but you will need to order double that for 40 feet if you want to keep it from curling and warping , especially if your soil/ground is soft and loose. I would suggest using two people to install this if possible and unrolling the entire roll and trying to straighten it as much as you can and then staking every 1 to 1.5 feet - hammering the stakes in half way- as you edge the area. Also you can customized the length by cutting the edging with a hack saw or a pair of sharp garden sheers if you do not need the entire roll. Once in place the edging looks fairly nice and adds a nice touch to a garden or walkway. Dimex is a USA company; however, it does not state where the product is made, 40 ft retails for approximately $25 to $35. Overall I would recommend this product if you want an easy, inexpensive way to retain mulch or stones in your garden or spruce up a walkway, this may be a good option; although it is not the easiest product to work with. I think there could be some improvement in the flexibility of this product, maybe they could split the plastic edging in to 3 or 4 ft straight pieces or to have creases in the roll which would allow you to straighten it more easily but obviously there is some reasoning for sending it in a roll. Hopefully the 100 foot coils are not one continuous piece as that would be very difficult to install.

Straight out of the box , it's easy to un-roll and install, level the area somewhat and limit the uneveness and this goes in easy - I used a hack saw to cut and no problem . The stakes are long enough and it gave the edging enough rigidity that it stays in place and no laying it flat to let the sun warm it up to make it pliable. Exactly as advertised, no digging, unroll it, hammer in the stakes. I have a walkway and i segregated the brown mulch, from the red lava rock, from the red mulch. Great, no more mixing between the bunch.

Its ok for plastic, easy to install. Time will tell how it holds up to the climate.

Good idea, bad design. The jagged edge is towards the outside and should be on the inside so that it won't be seen.

For me, this was a great purchase. I didn't install it myself but appeared to be pretty easy. Extra stakes were needed, as others stated. I accidentally stepped on it a couple of times but no harm. I couldn't spend hundreds of dollars on edging and this looks just fine.

It looks real nice in all of the gardens I used it for. It had plenty of stakes, but not enough connectors. One of the connectors had a piece break off during packaging, so I fixed it with a piece of duct tape. The connectors are a little flimsy, but work if attached correctly. Otherwise, no problems. I still have enough left to use on my small front garden. I purchased this in March and used it in May. The instructive video and paper instructions were very helpful.

the quality and design is good. Seems sturdy enough.

Wonderful thick product, look resilient so far. looks better than the flat top ones. you would stdeth it and keave it in the dun for a few days for it to expand and then secure it to the ground using the anchors so that there are no sagging areas due to expansion.
