If you want an impact driver that will run long screws in this ain’t the one. It’s ok for short ones but I’m not impressed. No speed switch, the reverse switch is too close to the trigger so you’re hitting it when you don’t want too. Overall 2 stars

Smaller than expected, but powerful!
I laughed when I opened the box. This product looks like a toy, the motor is so small. I almost returned it immediately, but I thought I’d give it a try. It drove a 3” construction screw deep into a 2 x 4. Don’t let the size fool you, this tool has power. Also, the small size makes it so you can get in between studs and other small places.
I’ve only used it once to drive some deck screws, but so far I like it. Also, has an LED light to light up to work surface. My Ridgid 18 V batteries from tools I bought over 10 years ago fit and work great.

Compact head, good power, long battery life
This is a great addition to the tool kit. Nice and light for use overhead and small head for tight spaces. Power to drive long screws and lags. A solid product, especially if you already own 18v batteries, the tool only can be found on special for a great value. I keep it in my trailer for use on wheel lugs and deploying and retracting stabilizers, and general RV maintenance.

Terrible lifetime warranty from home depot
Impact worked ok till 1 yr in due to trigger issue. Home depot doesn't keep in store and would not do anything to help except tell me to contact rigid about it. Lifetime warranty was part of why I purchased this, buyer beware!

Very impressed with the power of this impact driver. Fits in tight spaces well, doesn't fatigue the hands and wrists, and performs well. As an automotive tech I am very satisfied with it, especially considering its price. A nice compliment to my subcompact 3/8" ridgid impact where the extra power is not needed.

I like the subcompact drill, I lost my RIDGID 18V...
I like the subcompact drill, I lost my RIDGID 18V Brushless 3-Speed 1/4 in. Impact Driver and I picked this to replace it. I like the subcompact drill but prefer the 3 speed 1/4 impact driver over it. I like the size of the subcompact better. But the 3 speed drill had much better touch and more power, that out shined the size benefit of the subcompact.
