I already have the Ridgid drill and impact driver but I wanted/needed a smaller impact that could be used in tighter spaces and somewhat lighter. The sub compact impact driver is my drill of choice.

I like the power and size of the driver.

Used my impact driver to install 10x3 screws in my deck and it worked great.

Awesome little tool. Used the other day and it is very powerful and responsive. Get the job done.

The battery charger cord is cheap. The cord tore. Other wise good drill, I have a lot of them.

digdiR is the bomb!!! Compact. Lightweight. Does all the big boy jobs.

Only used once so far and worked as expected to work

I works well, sometimes it will stop. Having to let go of the trigger and pressing it again.

It seems like a good tool. Drives screws well. To me it seems a little bit loud though.

Small, powerful And solid

I bought it on 4/29/22 and had it delivered to my house. I have used the impact driver several times and it works great. My only issues was when I went to register it at rigid tools for lifetime warranty. I was having issues so I started a chat and was finally able to get it registered. When I logged into my rigid account it says product is registered but receipt still needs to be uploaded. I was advised that all that was completed when I did the chat, but I guess not. Still trying to get this resolved.

I have tried this tool before and tried it again just recently and I still think this tool is just not good enough. It doesn't drive screws as smooth as I would like it to be as it vibrates quite a bit. For a small tool, this thing is loud. Ridgid, go back to the drawing board and give this a speed mode and please work on that vibration. It needs some kind of soft impact, not hard pounding impact. As for the battery base, use the latest design cause that thickness is making it look weird.

Great tool, highly recommend! Have a few rigid tools, they are all top notch!
