Good material that's easy to work with but the sheets...
Good material that's easy to work with but the sheets were curled which made it a bit of a hassel to install. This was caused by the way it was stored in the store and can be rectified by laying it flat with the curl facing down and laying some weight on it. Another nice thing about this product is it qualifies for an energy savings rebate from the electric company.

Husband and I live in Arizona. We insulated a shed with this and it's amazing. It took the temperature inside from 120 degrees to 90 degrees. It's easy to cut and easy to install. We've used it several times to insulate doors that face the sun. What a difference!

Easy to cut, no messy little foam beads, good r value. Hard to find a store that carries it. We have several Home Depot stores close by but Had to drive 40mi to a Home Depot that had it in stock. Wish they carried it in 2” and 4.5” thicknesses. I routinely use it to sheath 2nd floor walls that are adjacent to attic space and between joists in cathedral ceilings.

Sorry to hear about the curved product. Please either lay it on a horizontal flat surface and allow it to flatten or return it to the store and exchange it for a board that is not curved.

Very good r value per inch. The foil is real thick aswell. The insulation is rigid and cuts well with knife or table/circular saw.

My Dog thanks you for a warm doghouse insulated with this awesome insulation board. Floor, walls, and roof were built out of 7/16th wafer sandwiched around this insulation board giving excellent strength and R value.

More than just Insulation
We used the R-Max insulation on our shop. In addition to the insulation value, thanks to the reflective silver foil lining we see a huge difference in the lighting. The shop had skylights but was always dark inside. After adding the R-Max insulation the interior of our shop is much brighter than before.
