Grinds through 8mm (.31") Ceramic Plank Tile
If there was a way to rate lower than 1, I would. Even after buying a better blade, there was little improvement.

    Shaft misaligned
90 mile round trip to get. Put together and the blade on the front could cut into the table if I turned it on. 90 miles back to return it. So yes.... I'm keeping the cheap blade it came with. Very disappointing to loose another day.

The saw works great. Many people said the blade needed to be upgraded. I used the blade that came with the saw and it worked just fine. I cut 20 sheets of an intricate marble tile pattern and the blade worked fine. My 4 stars is because of the angle glide. It was very tight and was hard to push. I lubed it with white lithium grease which helped a little bit. If I use it again, I may dip the glide in hot water and open the tight guide slide a bit.

Used right away on a significant project, worked flawlessly and cut very well. I did upgrade the cutting wheel right out of the box, as recommended per rating reviews. Hats off to Ryobi on another simple and effective design...

          good for the money
For the price you cant go wrong. Very basic. Nothing fancy with this tile saw. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The tile guide doesnt work well with smaller tiles and it doesnt slide very smoothly. I took the plastic guide off and used the staight metal slide as my guide similar to a stanard table saw.

          Great little tile saw
I bought this because I was redoing a shower floor with 12"x12" sheets of 2" square porcelain tiles. This saw did great and made the job super easy. The cuts were all straight and clean (no chipping). I had to cut angles and that worked great too. Overall this made the job look more professional and saved a ton of time!

          Extremely happy with this product.
For the value i am extremely happy with this wet saw. I didn't realize how many cuts I would need while tiling my outside kitchen bar area. This wet saw was more than up for the job.

            Great for tile
After purchasing a blue hawk tile cutter that couldn’t cut paper, I’ve left any tile cutting to the pros. But after taking off work to have my floor tile done & my tile layers bailed I thought I’d give it a try & am SO glad I did. I’ve never operated a saw in my life so was a little intimidating at first but was shockingly easy & safe to use even free hand. One thing difficult to avoid it chipping the end no matter how slow I go. I was using porcelain tile & cuts were essentially straight outside of fixing chipped ends. I still think it came out awesome seeing as how it’s my first try. I don’t know what they could change to have the ends not chip but should be looked into.

              Worked GREAT!
I bought this saw to cut tile for the first time. I was doing a mosaic tile floor in my powder room. I first bought the nippers and they worked horribly. I tried using a manual tile cutter and that was an utter failure. I bought this saw based on reviews and price. I had never don ANY tile work before. The tile was 12x12 sheets of mosaic tile. I took my time and this saw cut through with no problem at all. I practiced on some of the tile that I ruined using the manual cutters. After that, it was a breeze. I liked the water in the bottom of the saw. I have no reference for any other methods, but it worked out well for me. I didnt get any chipping on the cut edges. This saw was awesome. After doing my powder room, I am looking forward to doing the spare bath and the master bathroom. I may even go for the kitchen floor and back splash. I enjoyed using this saw and am super pleased with the out come. Just go slow and it should work.

This saw gets the job done
I bought this saw online when we decided to retile around our fireplace. My project was installing white marble arabesque tile. These mosaic tiles can easily break, but this saw did a fine job with very little loss. Note that i did buy an upgraded saw blade for this marble tile separately. The saw is nice and compact with an easy fill water reservoir. It comes with a good guard/mitre gauge. And the platform will tilt up to make nicey angled tile cuts. Glad i bought it and look forward to using it more.

Great Cuts, Convenient to Carry and Store
I have been using this Ryobi. 7" wet tile saw for 3 weeks and it has been great. I would recommend having a sliding guide to support longer angled cuts, but overall it has been a great workhorse for tiling my whole house in 24*6 porcelain.

                  Works well, why rent?
I purchased this wet saw to attempt to do a tile job in a bathroom. The cost to rent a professional saw was more for a few days so I felt this was the was to go. I am glad I did as this has worked really well and my first tile job was a great success. I will be doing the backsplash in my new kitchen next and then my Bathroom shower. Great basic wet saw that is easy to use and clean after use.

                  Great saw, Great price.
Works really well, the blade that comes with it tho isn't very good, it works but the cutting is slow, so I got a better one and barely any chips on the tiles, super fast cuts.

Works exactly as expected. Blade could be a little better but it gets the job done.

The saw was easy to assemble and use. It's also light weight and can be carried to wherever it is needed. The water does make a mess (especially if you fill it to the maximum level), so I used it outside. It cut well through my porcelain tiles, but the tile's finish did chip a little at the cutting edge.

                  A great wet saw
I bought this for doing a backsplash in my downstairs kitchen. The tiles I was placing were porcelain quarter inch thickness mosaic. A lot of cutting with precision. Great saw, love it. Small easy to clean, uses very little water. The blade guard keeps the water spray down and drains back into the reservoir. Great tool to have for other tile projects. Didn’t get the stand for it and I suppose it would be good to own as well since it would be higher than a table I placed it on.

                    Impressed!
To be completely honest I bought this product to do something that it’s not necessarily made to do. I needed to make a diagonal cut on a concrete pathway stone that is 16“ x 16“ x 2“ thick. I bought the saw in hopes that with its ability and my construction knowledge, I’ll be able to complete the task at hand. I was able to make one blind pass from the bottom, flipping over the stone, and making one pass from the top (without using the fence or guard). I had to go very slow, but the saw came through like a champ! Can’t believe it, I highly recommend!

After a lengthily research I pulled the trigger and bought this wet tile saw for my two bathrooms remodeling. I even didn't bother with the provided blade. I just bought a quality one off internet for thick tiles. Result is this saw cuts my 12x24 (9mm thick) tiles like a butter. It was so easy I was praising that saw all the time during my tiling. It even didn't crack a single tile. Cuts are amazingly straight and nice. I'm telling you, buy this saw and you'll thank me later. Cheers!

                        Awesome features
I bought this a few weeks ago, it works really good, it has a cutting template attachment that you can cut any degree of tile. It also has neat 45 degree for the tray so you can cut tiles on their edge to meet going round corners that also works really well.

                        Do not waste your money
Right in the middle of my travertine imstall (4”x8”x3/8”) the borrowed saw I was using stopped working. Went to HD to buy a inexpensive tile saw. Going my the Ryobi name, I picked this one up. I’m a homeowner and a general contractor. The blade that came with the saw is not for tile. Way too thick. Reminds me of something that should be on a concrete saw. The worst thing about this saw are the measureing increments. 5 1/2” is NOT 5 1/2”!! When you’re installing using 1/16” spacers, it makes a difference. 5 1/2” is actually 5 9/16” and it isn’t accurate no matter where you set the rip guide all up and down the “ruler”. I’m going to continue to fight with it but, it’s going back when I’m done.

a pretty good deal for a decent saw.
It's a decent saw. My cuts were reproducable to within 1/32nd of each other with the fence. The fence can be locked down unsquare so be sure to check it with a speed square against the metal edge. The fence works by gripping the plastic sides which causes them to buckle in but it's part of the design. I was cutting 6x18 subway tiles and it did great. thThere was some minor chipping but since the glaze is thick it's not noticable. I also smoothed the edges out with a stone for my outside edges. The tiles do get hung up as you feed it into the blade due to friction on the table top itself, water with a sponge helps this. One reviewer said to use a sponge to catch water pooling on the tile. This is definitely a good tip especially with 18 inch tiles when you rip them lengthwise. The water splashback is marginal as long as your cuts are on the short side. I actually picked up the QEP saw first and returned that asap once I saw the build quality and the fact that it was used and reboxed and returned. This saw had much better quality.

                            Great little saw
I’ve used a professional saw in the past and while this doesn’t have quite the precision, it got the job done in just abiut the same time. I cut 36 inch porcelain plank tiles with no issue. Just have to take it slow, cut face down (draw marks on the back), and maybe stop just before the end. I turned the tile around to finish long rip cuts as that seemed to minimize the last bit chipping at a diaganol (happens on big saws sometimes too). I will say it cut through a marble threshold like butter so ceramic shouldnt be an issue at all. Easy to maintain water level and cleanup after, even all the clay and junk that gets stuck in everything. Rip fence was fine and needed for long cuts, but cross cuts i did free hand. Easy enough to see line if you set the splash guard a little higher. Surpringly didnt get too wet which was nice in a 40 degree garage

I'm a big fan of Ryobi. This little saw worked wonders for me on a laundry room tile job. It set up easily for me to rip 12x24 porcelain tiles. There was very little chipping, I did use the stock blade. I'm sure if I'd splurged on a nice blade there would have been even less chipping... but its super minimal as it is... plus everything cut will be under trim anyways. The water reservoir was easy to refill. The motor is very quiet. The clear cut guard doesn't do much but I got my eye on the blade and used a wax pen to draw my lines, I had zero problem cutting very long perfectly straight lines. I found this wet saw to be great for cutting mosaic glass/stone tiles. I like the way this one has legs that support it securely and a groove around the edge to catch water and return it to the basin below (others I looked at did not have either of these features). Initially I guess I didn't tighten the saw shield bracket tight enough to withstand vibrations because after cutting one sheet of tiles, the edge of that bracket blocked the next sheet. The fix was simple - I loosened it, realigned it, tightened those screws very tight, and the bracket stayed in place from then on. The saw is very lightweight and easy to carry but appears to be very durable and well made.
