[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a week before hurricane Irma hit Florida and holy cow I am glad I did. I previously only had a Champion 1500/1200W generator. I wanted a backup for the Champion and that’s why I bought the Ryobi. Now the Champion is the backup. This thing will run my fridge and a fan a full work day(9+ hours) and have just enough fuel to not run dry. I have owned this generator for ten days and I now have 70 hours on it. The app may seem useless at first, but being able to turn off the auto-idle from inside the house, plug in the coffee maker, turn off the coffee maker, then turn the auto-idle back on is so convenient. The load meter is a great addition too. Run ethanol free gas and check the oil every gas tank is what I recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my Ryobi 2300/1800 inverter generator and it's fantastic! It's very portable and light weight!! It only required two pulls of he cord to start. The unit ran quietly and did not even struggle to run my 26.0 cubic refrigerator, LED tv , and mobile electronics. I take comfortable in knowing that I will have sufficient back up power whenever I need it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought one yesterday and I started it up today to check it out. I love how compact it is and most of all how quite it is. We seem to be getting ready to be hit by a hurricane and I wanted to make sure it would run my refrigerator. And yes it does keep my fridge going with out any problems. I don't really need it to run the house but just keep a few things going and the fridge is first on the list. I'm sure I could run a few more things but I don't think there is a need. But after we survive the hurricane I am definitely going to be taking it with me for outdoor events camping, beach parties, or even some tailgate parties and then some. The fact that I can get another one and hook them together for more power is awesome, that is something that I might be doing in the future. It does nothing t take up a lot of space in my garage Andy I love that, I try to keep my garage organized and love that it's not big and bulky. Overall I think it's worth the money I paid for it and would definitely look into getting another or even one of their bigger ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a way to power a pitching machine for the kids when we take it to the park. After hearing it run, I also feel like we could take it to the campground and not bother any other campers. I was looking at the red brand, but after reading reviews online, comparing the 2 side by side on specs, and my love for Ryobi tools, I decided on this one and saved some money. The bluetooth was super easy to set up and the readings on the app are great. The readout on the front of the generator is very clear and gives you a lot of info - in real time. Highly recommend anyone looking at the other brand to compare the 2, and consider saving yourself some money. This one is just as good - if not better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this generator in preparation for hurricane barrel in order to cover a window AC unit in our fridge. Well, it did turn on and run and cover those appliances. The display screen didn’t work correctly. When turning it on for the first time, the screen automatically went to overloaded, despite the fact that nothing was plugged into the generator yet, and the reset button on the generator and through the app didn’t work to reset the display either the timer also is an accurate displaying up to 20 total hours of working time when the product is advertised only cover for nine hours. The generator itself works, the electronic components of it need to be fixed.

It lasted the whole time at our outing. Two thumbs up. I would buy it again.

I purchased this generator many years ago right out of the box. All you had to do was follow the instructions filled with oil and it was pool. Start ready. Aced it and the generator will not start. I returned it and received another one and the same thing happened reached out to Ryobi. Ryobi is sending me to take it to a technician as it is still in the warranty, but this is a big inconvenience because I really needed the generator when I purchased it and now I have to wait to see if they can fix it.

In the middle of hurricame and with no power, I needed to have the generator runnign quickly. Right ouot of the box and with clear and simple instructions I was abble to get it ready and runnig in a flash, and it worked perfectly (and relatively quietly),savinf the food in the refrigerator and freezer from spoling. Easy to run and easy to transport with its handel and wheel, I recommend it highly.

Genny would startup straight into overload and force shut itself down. Called Ryobi tech support, did all the troubleshooting they offered. They told me to drain the fluids and exchange at Home Depot. HOME DEPOT DOES NOT ALLOW GENERATOR EXCHANGES ONCE FUEL IS PUT INTO THEM. How else am I supposed to use the genny stupid?! Come to find out, the extend warranty I bought doesn't cover repairs locally. I HAVE TO GO TO A CERTIFIED REPAIR TECH 380 MILES AWAY. BUY A HONDA!!!!

Well, the generator is light to carry around, the downfall for me as a woman its the manual start, trying to pull the handle to start it is a bit difficult, and the app doesn't have a start remote control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this generator for 3 years. We use it at our remote cabin in Maine. It runs in temperatures during the summer in 90F range to dead of winter -13F has been the coldest temperature. We run synthetic oil and the only issue was this year, we had not used it for about 6 months. It surged when running. I watched videos on how to cure this. In about 30 minutes of repair has it running perfect again. It was a dirty carburetor. This is a great generator that we leave in our woodshed and have it wired into the cabin. It's a quiet generator and blue tooth works great. We can run it at full throttle when we are awake running all our things then without going out to woodshed idle it down for a sleeping.

This generator is not good! Do not buy. Since starting it was displaying Overloaded. It never worked. It’s also very loud. It’s not super quiet like the description said. Please, don’t buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this when my landlord shut off my power and refused to turn it back on. I ran this 24/7 for 40 days straight . Just changed the oil and replaced gas .

Is it me or is this thing garbage? Bought it in hopes to run a 1/2 HP water jet pump. The generator instantly went into overload mode. Turned it off, reset it, plugged a refrigerator in - overload mode. Was able to charge a Makita battery and a phone. That’s about it for $700 plus gas. That’s a go-back

The digital screen has errors

Did not perform as I expected it to. Provided power to run a drill. running a 20" box fan appeared to lag a bit and would not run my 8gal compressor (mainly what I needed it for). Ended up returning it. Working out in the woods without any power, it is a must to run all necessary equipment and not only sum of the tools. Should have done more homework and research before purchasing. Will consider a larger generator for next trip..
