New door lock from garage
I just had this deadbolt lock with keypad and optional lock installed by my locksmith. The lock on my garage door was a simple doorknob lock that was not very strong. I never liked leaving my garage door up with only that lock. My new lock has a deadbolt which feels much more secure. I replaced the old doorknob with the handle that came with the new lock. It feels very secure and I much prefer a handle when coming in from the garage with my arms full. I like having the option to lock/unlock the door with a key too. It has back lighting when you touch it.

Very nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was aspecting the bottom lock to have key and top one double key it came with only one key I bought my self new 9v lithium batteries they work perfect with the lock I like the product I installed front and back door, make it easy to my Family to access the house with the new code .

Great lock easy install

Works great - solid design

Reliable well built
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fourth unit of the same type i install at home, no issues, batteries have been good for 3+ years so far! Only time i had an issue was the last package didn't have the sub-plate for the deadbolt... I had an extra luckily but otherwise always included everything needed. The deadbolt plate is slightly larger than default strike plate routered recess, so usually have to expand it slightly...

Great door lock!!

Schlage has easy installs, great flexible programming and great looking locks you can program your codes, add and subtract codes as needed. This unit will allow you to even change the key to match another key if that is what you wish. Love it. Most importantly my husband and family love this lock.

Excellent Security Keypad Set
