Quietist microwave I’ve ever heard. And it looks expensive. However, the trim plate is only stainless colored on the front—all of the edges are black plastic, and the plastic shows if it’s not fully inset in a cabinet to the front edge of the trim-our microwave cabinet has the trim sit outside.

Owned for four years (started acting up after 18 months). Like some others I have a major waveguide malfunction that is burning up the metal infused cover (inside the oven bay) and creating carbon and burn marks on the interior. I have started a chat with the manufacturer to see the remedies they offer. Based on other reviews, I am not confident.

This is really a great little microwave that can fit some of the older square built in openings. Having the easy to install trim package is huge.

Perfect for our new kitchen...installing into a cabinet.

Perfect size for an in-cabinet microwave. Not as powerful as some but works well. A part was missing with the shipment but customer service quickly provided the part. If you have a smaller in-cabinet space and don't need a higher power appliance, I would recommend this product

NO IM STILL WAITING FOR THE REPLACEMENT PART

Starting using it in June 2018 and it stopped working February 2019. Just two people in the household and the microwave was used mostly to heat up a cup of coffee in the morning. The keypad is very limited in its functions. For example, it is not possible to just hit one button to heat for a minute or two, you must enter in the exact time needed, with minutes and seconds, every time it is used. Poor quality, the microwave is only warrentied for 90 days and that is about all it is good for. This may be one of the few products where buying the buyer protection program makes sense. But it makes more sense to buy a good quality product from a respected brand manufacturer and stay away from anything made by Summit, whoever they are.

While the microwave looks good it doesn’t do a good job heating food.

Nice microwave - it looks very nice and built in. Power runs a bit low.

I built my cabinet following the published specifications for opening size. However the unit, (which arrived with metric documentation??), is about 2.5 inches too big in width and height. I now have a weird hole in my new custom built kitchen. :/

Excellent Microwave. Quiet. The stainless steel surround is only a thin strip on a plastic frame. The protective blue plastic wrap was almost impossible to get off due to that plastic frame. The bottom heat shield was not in the box, but as far as I can tell is not needed.

I'm remodeling my entire kitchen and I just installed my brand new Summit Microwave. So far looks very good and it seems to work pretty good as well, it's just a bit small but we do just basic use of the microwave, so that is not really a problem. We like it, it looks stylish and modern.

Great product - I've had one before. Unfortunately, the new one I purchased was shipped without the Down Exhaust Guide. Summit informed me, in response to my request for the part, that it is not in stock and won't be available until June (three months from now). Their suggestion, which I will take, is to remove the part from my old microwave and use that until the new one arrives.

Easy installation I’m very satisfied with the end result. Looks like original equipment. I would suggest taking the cabinet out of the list of contents that’s very confusing because it’s not one in there.

Nice and quiet. A little small inside but a good product.

We have a kitchen built in 1972. The Summit product fit perfectly into one of the cubbard spaces. Because it has only 900 Watts, I was afraid it would not be as powerful as my counter microwave. I was wrong, it really works well. The interior is small but really does hold most items.
