I noticed that the pipe moved a little then it cam out of the connection. That would have been a mess if I had not noticed.

Kit includes everything you need for installation. The AC pump is cast iron with stainless steel impeller. The DC is plastic. The pumps have special bases that raise them off the bottom of the well and have protective mesh covers to prevent stones from going through the pumps. Mine was a new installation with a 24 inch basin and I had to modify the y pipe connector for 90 degree turn horizontal mounting because I wanted the pipe to go up along the wall. The pipe goes up about 8 feet and then out the wall. I tested both pumps and they empty the well in seconds. The pumps come with the y pipe connector and two one way valves to prevent the water from recirculating from one pump to the other. The pumps are compact which allowed me to install them with a horizontal outlet in a 24 inch basin. Only con is that there are too many wires going into the well. Each floating switch has its own wire that has to exit the well so there are four wires coming out, two for power and two for switching. I would expect the switching to be connected directly to the pumps. The kit has everything you need. I had to buy some 1 1/2 pipe a couple of 90 degree compact connectors a rubber Union for quick disconnect and even though the pumps come with one way valves I got a separate valves for the pipe going out the wall. Also don’t forget the battery. I got a compact 40 amp sealed deep discharge battery. The battery case is pretty big and can take a much bigger battery through, so I advise you to get a bigger one.

Works great installation not to difficult only tough part was placing the heavy cables out of the way of everything and getting them to the power. four cables to try to make look neat and out of the way took time

great quality and easy installation. Fit my smaller sizes sump pit. Some damage in shipping but prompt response from manufacturer fixed the issue. Would definitely recommend this system.

Pump came assembled and was easy to install. So far it is working great. I would like to note that it does not come with the battery for the backup pump. However, it does have the housing for it. you just need to swap the battery from your old system or get a new one.

The main pump did not work.

The 45 degree street el for the backup pump was not glued. Incomplete assembly?? Not serious as other fittings needed to complete the installation required gluing so it was just one more.

No, 1) the online order instructions suggested it would identify everything needed, but failed to state battery fluid was to be purchased separately. 3) The battery I received appeared to have a resealed box and was missing the fuel cell caps needed once you remove the foil cover over the battery solution opening. I had to make a trip to the local store to exchange the battery. Extra headache

After installation pump would not shut off. Preassembled but unit came apart when removed from box.

Came in good shape. everything there, easy to install with the right tools.

Pump works well. Case for battery was not large enough to fit back up battery that I purchased there properly. Super easy to install you just want to check all the factory connections for the piping.

Model 92941 replaced a failing four year old unit that utilized an inferior cord/bulb switch function ~ the Superior pump easily adjusted to my sump basin and is quieter than the previous system

Pre assembled very easy installation

The pre-assembled pumps & battery installed very easily. What I didn't like is how low in the sump the water level is maintained. I made an aluminum bracket to raise the pump turn on level 4" higher, so that it wouldn't run so often. I only runs for about 7 seconds, leaving a lot of water in the sump. It needs a longer float rod so it will pump more water out which will create a longer period of time for water to refill the sump. I see at the Superior Pump web site, float switches with a longer float rod can be purchased.

The pump was easy to install and is working very well, with much less noise than my last pump system. It's nice to have the main pump and battery backup all integrated together as one system rather than put together piecemeal.

Works great so far would recommend installing one. We have it at lake house that has a high water table. Peace of mind that when we are not there it will keep the basement from flooding. It was easy to replace existing sump pump.

This unit was easy to install. I would recommend checking the clamps before you install. I pulled it apart taking it out of the box

Great pump works like a charm. Constructed of high quality materials. Runs flawlessly. Super quiet, hard to tell when it cycles. Took me about 45 minutes to install it and perform and operational test. Just a couple minor issues...it would be nice to disable the warning/alert beeper, basically turn it off if you don't want to hear an alarm. There is a silence feature, but it turns itself back on every time the backup battery powered pump is engaged. One alarm is enough. The second thing is that even though the pump is pre-assembled, there is going to be some adjustment and customization of the discharge lines, so anybody that's considering it's installation better be somewhat handy and comfortable with doing plumbing work. I buy another one of these units in a heartbeat...great piece of equipment.

Easy to assemble and place in hole

Easy to install. Works great.

Having the main pump and the battery backup come pre-assembled make installation a breeze. The main pump is solid in construction. Getting the battery pump up and running was as easy as hooking up to leads and plugging in three cords. Both pumps tested great right after we got them installed. They are completely silent. I had to feel the discharge pvc pipe for running water just to make sure they were running. A great buy and well worth the money.
