Worth the price as compared to cheaper ones I bought from amazon, the cheaper ones all broke in exactly the same location after drilling around 10 holes, this bit was the same price as buying 3 of the cheaper ones but it drilled more than 30 holes and is still going strong

The answer from ITW Brands is incorrect. 7 inches is the overall length of this drill bit. The portion of the bit that drills is only 4.5 inches. Way shorter than 7 inches! The description of this product is misleading and should be updated.

I bought some 5 in concrete anchors, this drill drilled out the concrete that was poured to anchor may new safety railing.

The end on the drill is welded so you can't remove the drill bit and then use the nut driver to drill in the screw. You have to remove the drill bit from drill and use a separate nut driver. I don't get it??

Picture says enough, can't understand how people still buy this

Drill bit went right through the concrete block wall effortlessly !! Highly recommend it, last hole was as easy as the first !!

I just picked up a box of Tapcon Screws and thought I better get a SDS bit to pre-drill so I can anchor some boards to my foundation in the basement. So looking around the fastener section I saw there was a Tapcon SDS that would work. In the past I always bought the Bosch SDS bit, but thought hey why not, four holes drilled into some very soft concrete and this bit is rounded over and this is using a Harbor Freight cheapy concrete hammer drill. Plain junk, buy the higher quality Bosch, I know this cost less than $8 bucks, but when you need a tool to perform don't skimp.

I purchased one bit with the 1/4" Tapcons to anchor some wall sections. The first bit broke after a couple of holes and I thought I may have gotten a flawed bit. I purchased a second and it broke on the second hole. I'm not buying a third! After the first one, I was particularly careful on the bit angle and pressure I was using. Not operator error, just terrible bits.

The bit works as it should. No issues drilling into concrete.
