EZ to istall

Worked great to replace an older model where the sprinklers wouldn't turn on. The old box would not light up and not all sprinklers worked. This new box fixed all issues and underground sprinkler system works perfect. Zones and timers all work now. Box lights up and all functions work.

Replaced a 20 year old Toro controller and no problems. Took about 15 minutes to mount and hook up the wires. The setup of zones, durations, and start times is not very intuitive (the 20 year old controller was easier), but once setup it all works perfectly. Definitely worth the money I spent.

The timer was easy to install and works great.

My elderly mom has had one for years and knows how to operate it. Because of the layout, I needed to install one in the rear yard so I wanted the same model so she wouldn't struggle learning a new one. She's happy and her garden is doing great. Thanks HD and Toro for continuing to offer this easy to use timer.

I bought this to replace a Toro irrigation control panel I had for close to 20 years. I did not put it in myself,I had my son-in-law put it in, who is a electrician. I found it easy to use and easy to program. It was a lot like my older one. So far so good, hope it lasts for 20 years.

Easy to program, works as expected, but screen is VERY difficult to read; I use a LED flashlight to see the information on the screen. Otherwise, a good product.

We had one that lasted for years. This one fit in my weatherproof box and connected just like our old one with no re-wiring. Easy to program, time will tell how long it lasts.

The display and unit is too small and you could hardly see the read out . I should have gotten the Rain Bird. Don't even think of this unit.

It replaced an older Toro model. It was easy to install and program. If you’re looking for an inexpensive unit, I recommend the Toro.

If replacing an older Toro model, be careful, the mounting is different. This will not replace an existing controller. The operation is easy and simple to program, not a fancy device, just a plain sprinkler timer.

I’ve had a Toro 8 zone controller for over 20 years and it finally succumbed to old age. The Toro Lawn Master II 6 zone has been a great reasonably priced alternative. I’ve consolidated 2 zones into 1 and hand watered an easily accessible zone. I’m pleased with the purchase!

Display is sometimes hard to read due to a lack of backlight on the display.

The website stated that this controller had a function setting that would accomodate a well pump. Unfortunately it does not, and I had to return it.

Had two of the predecessor models that didn't do well. This one so far is working as advertised and it's actually easier to set up. The relays aren't replaceable like the old ones, but the controller is still only ~$40/4 zones with them built in.
