This Toshiba 8000 btu unit is easy to install and operate. I have central air, but the small room sized window air conditioners the central air doesn't have to work as hard to cool down my home. I have 2 8000 btu window units, and a 10,000 btu portable air conditioner in our den. Once the house is cool, I turn off the small ac units. Utility bill has gone down 15%. ?

Easy to install and set up. Using to keep a garage cool while I have furniture stored in there during work on house. No problem keeping garage at 78-80 degrees.

After doing my research on this widow unit the Toshiba brand looked like a good choice, unfortunately the only way to test its output is to install it. That was easy enough even for one person, my complaint is the fan blower on this unit is almost non existant and maybe covers 5 feet on the highest setting, it might cool a closet but not a room. It runs 24/7 inefficiently at a very low temp setting, and I have tried all allowable combinations. Made in China not Japan.

This unit constantly would kick on and off adjust the temperature on its own. Then it would beep constantly. Really disappointed

Bought this AC to cool my small kitchen/living room space between 300-400 sq ft. It worked for a year and started having electrical problems with the buttons. Wouldn’t change settings when I selected them and would change settings all by itself. Eventually could only use the remote and then that stopped working and the front panel would work here and there. AP settings kept flashing on their own. And now it’s dead, totally dead after paying $575 barely over a year ago in March 2023.

I’ve had Toshiba ACs before and when I needed a new one for my bedroom I decided to buy it again. The noise level on low is relatively quiet but on high it’s too loud. It cools the room quickly and is nice looking. I like that it has a remote control so I don’t have to get out of bed to change the temperature or to turn it on or off. I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it.

Quick cooling, quiet operation for sleeping, keeps space cool with ease. 2 weeks since installing. My epectations were been met within a couple hours. I would purchase again to replace older units I have.

It's a great AC for the price.

Very nice air conditioner. Easy to install with all the hardware, insulation and window seals included. Cools 250 sqft gym over a garage fast. Has dry mode which knocks the humidity out of the air.

Ac works great cools all day long, but makes a lot of noise, like something loose.
