Simple to set up and operate. Clearly effective; extracted full internal pail container of water from air overnight. Competitive pricing.

    Good idea, faulty implementation
This unit initially did a good job of dehumidifying our basement. A positive is it offered three ways to to drain the water: bucket, hose or pump. I used the pump for water reclaiming. The issue is that a year later it stopped dehumidifying. The compressor runs but the air inlet coils (evaporator) never get even cool, which is how it extracts the moisture (dew on a cold bottle). In a 72 F basement with 60% humidity, there was zero water collection in 24 hours. hOmeLabs does not have a corner on this poor durability these days - many seem to fail a year or two. So my decade old NOT Energy Star Frigidair dehumidifier is now take over the task. It's slow, but still working. BTW, hOmeLabs no longer offers a 2 year warranty, in case that seemed like an attractive feature to you.

This dehumidifier has worked great from the day I set it up. The instructions for maintenance were easy to follow and I highly recommend this unit. It's a good deal for the price.

I have had this only a month and so far so good. It is more quiet than past models and seems to do the job. I can't answer more than this as I haven't had it long enough.

Very efficient at loweering humidity in our downstairs area which is fairly large. Runs quietly. We have the pump version we run the drain hose to the downstairs bathroom tub.

This dehumidifier exceeded my expectations. It's quiet yet powerful. I had a full bucket of water just overnight.

        Good product
Works great. No issues so far for my 1250 sq ft basement. Keeps it cool and comfortable. Much better than GE model (never again) which I previously had.

First, I don’t live in a humid area. Instead, I purchased a dehumidifier to combat condensation on my windows (cool, wet climate + warm air from sleeping humans = very wet windows overnight). So I was fine with a low-capacity tank, and this model is a great size for my needs. I like this model because the vents are in the FRONT, rather than back (the part that faces the wall) as I was conscious about not wanting to damage my walls. I use it on “Low” and the thrumming sound actually helps lull me to sleep. Satisfied with it for now; let’s see if it lasts me 5 years, though.

              Lasted about four months
Return window is 90 days. This dehumidifier lasted about 120 days before it started making a terrible high pitched whining noise. Do not recommend.

                Very Quiet But Also Efficient
Great unit. Very efficient and quiet Go for the largest bucket size if you cant have a drainage hose... or you'll be emptying it twice a day. Very happy, and the latter was my decision-making error.

A GOOD review for Tosot 50-Pint Capacity with Internal Pump 4,500 sq. ft. Energy Star Dehumidifier
This unit came virtually ready-to-run except to connect and run the included drain tubing. I have the unit in my 32' x 50' basement where in the summer months the humidity causes a damp musty smelling environment. It is very quiet. It maintains humidity level at my chosen setting of 55%. It does produce heated air which is OK in a concrete basement. The drain tube from the pump is routed to the washing machine's drain stack. Works as advertised and, after a couple of months of using it, I have no complaints. I never give 5 Stars so my 4 Star rating is high by my standards.

This has worked great in our basement bedroom, which had begun to smell moldy in the summer, and sucked an incredible amount of water out of the air. It reduced the humidity from >70% down to 30%. I set up the pump line to pump excess water outside through a window, but I am not certain whether it has kicked in. It does heat up the room when working for awhile.

Works excellent! My first dehumidifier and I’m really really happy with it day after day use and execution. Runs by itself - low maintenance - highly recommended.

I may return it because the pump does not work. It condenses humidity but turns off when the tank is full and doesn’t empty the water with the pump.
