We bought this 2 months ago and it was installed a month later in 1/2 day. Professional install and we love how much the sun tunnel lights up the entrance hall that used to be so dark in daytime.

I purchased a Velux Skylight for kitchen . Yet to be installed. I purchase 4 of the 22 inches flexible sun tunnels as I was super excited to have 3 in the hall way and 1 in the addition on the second floor. To my sad surprise, 2 installers came out and they both could not install even one in the hallway. One of them said he will try to install a 14 rigid maybe in the hallway. TRY. I hope I am not stuck with 3 Sun tunnels unopened . They costed me an arm and a leg. Unfortunately the Truss does not have place for installation. I so much wish someone can find a way to install Atleast ONE in the hallway for sure.

Do you sell a square cover to modify a round tube light just to update it and give it a fresh look? If not I’m thinking a getting a picture frame to install over diffuser….also, ours are soooooooo bright, we like to cut down on the glare…

Totally transformed our main bathroom. Provides just the right amount of light to supplement a north facing window without it being overpowering.

Went in fairly easily. Brought in oodles of light to a previously dark 3rd floor stairwell.

The plastic shroud cracked in 3 places within 3 years and then leaked. Love the light but would never buy one with a plastic shroud again in our sunny area. Get one with a metal shroud.

We installed a Sun Tunnel 15 years ago when no one knew what they were! We were removing a window from a bathroom and I wanted natural light! It’s still perfect, but I see the night light, and different diffuser patterns and am extremely interested in those. I would install all over again if I were doing project now. Saw them a few months ago not realizing that had been in obscurity for so long!!! Thanks Venus!

Works great and really add a lot of light to the room

We have install 2 sun tunnels, and waiting to install the 3rd. They are the rigid pitched 14" unit. I can understand if ours are hurricane rated. the 2 installed have been through 3 hurricanes with no problem. Are they hurricane rated?? The TMZ roof mount is our next approach which are flat. I wish I would have known this before I bought the here in florida HELP

Great way to brighten a room. Love it!!!

I personally purchased and installed five of these. Only two of the five didn't hold some surprise of misaligned screw holes, sheet metal punch-outs in the wrong place, cracks from the factory around the acrylic dome screw holes, or an insufficient length of weather stripping. I'm guessing they spend about $30 on manufacturing these and way more on marketing. At $300 a pop, the only way these wouldn't seem overpriced is if they put a reasonable amount of effort into manufacturing. There's a good chance you'll have to modify something to get them to fit together as advertised. At least they include a generous amount of reflective tape to help patch up the disasters. The interior fixtures are fragile, soft plastic. I only handled them with clean hands and laid them down on a soft towel when installing, but somehow I managed to put scratches in all of them. The important part is the roof mount and dome and apart from not lining up the screw holes for these pieces, at least these seem fairly bomb-proof. Once they're installed they look pretty good and as long as you do a good job sealing, it's hard to imagine these won't last for a long while as long as you don't touch them. Had I not handled the install, I'd probably be happy with them. Regrettably I'm about to buy several more of these because I want all the sun tunnels in my house to match, but man do I wish I'd gone with something higher quality.

I have purchased 2 add'l Velux skydomes in the past. They are a great way to add natural sun light to any part of your home. Would highly recommend.

Love the way my home is now lit up!! Was so good that I bought another two to be installed elsewhere in my house.

We hired someone to do the installation but the amount of light now coming in is incredible. More than expected. It’s for our bathroom w/o windows and much needed to keep mold at bay.

My garage where I do art work was a dark cave. Now the space has an area of natural light were I work and the whole room is brighter.

Installed in one hour. Amazing light in the room now!

Fully content with the light coming into the house. Manufacturer's Website provides videos e information for a easy installation.

I installed 3 rigid sun tunnels in my mid century modern house. One in the walk-in closet and two in the master bathroom. We don't turn the lights on in the house till the sun sets. I highly recommend.

I have had two of the skylights installed in my den but after a couple of years I noticed lots of dead insects laying on the diffuser. Apparently they are not sealed well enough and small insects get in them and eventually die on the diffuser. Very unsightly! The installation manual does not show how to remove the diffuser so I can clean it. Please give me some guidance.

I was a little skeptical when our roofer suggested it but OmG , it saved money in the long run. Almost never having to turn lights on walking down long hall, and all the natural light was amazing. Ended up adding three total and the laundry one was my favorite. If your adding a new roof, they’re a must. Thank you.
