This is by far my favorite weed barrier. I believe that you shouldn’t be able to rip weed barrier fabric by hand, because then it’s neither thick enough nor tough enough to last. This weed barrier fabric is woven like a coarse, stiff shirt fabric. It is easy to cut with scissors, and yet stands up to being hit repeatedly with the blunt back of a hatchet (e.g. to flatten a high spot).

Strong and well made. Using on the side of a gravel driveway. Holds up well from piling large rocks.

I am thinking that this is a game changer for our garden this year. This is heavy duty but still light. It rolls out easily and the fabric is marked quite well to easily tell where the 1-5' lines are. We used a propane torch to cut holes for transplanting tomatoes and pepper plants and both a 1.75" and 3" auger to dig the holes. You will need lots of staples which Home Depot sells. In addition to using staples, we also used bricks to ensure that wind would not turn it into a parachute and we have had some really strong winds. The fabric is porous but takes days out in the sun to allow more moisture penetration as water simply beads up on it when it is first rolled out. So far it is showing to be quite durable as we walk back and forth on it but I believe we will cover it in mulch to extend its life. Again, I can see this as a game changer as it eliminates weeding and a lot of pests.

using this to line four raised beds in my vegetable garden to keep weeds out and my rich top soil in my beds. I tested this fabric out before putting dirt in and it drained very well. I think it's going to work perfectly.

Laid this down before I put gravel over a fire pit area in my backyard. It was super easy to apply and so far is doing exactly what it’s supposed to. Haven't noticed a single weed. Only thing I would say is that if you need to cut it, do so with a utility knife. Don’t try to use scissors or you’ll wear yourself out.

The work staff were very helpful. Much better than one of your local competitors (L_ _ _ s). Product easy to use. )

Great product - easy to use!

I don't like when you cut it as the woven plastic frays and I was hoping for more of a fabric and this is a plastic woven material. It is doing the job of suppressing weeds however.
