Only 9.9% RTF seeds!
More expensive then regular fescue seed. Yet it's only 10% of the RTF seed which is advertised all over the bag! Not worth it. Buy regular RTF seed instead of this 10% RTF mix

Turned out great !
Not much to say , planted the seed , added starter fertilizer and Peat moss. Kept soil moist until germination which took about 9 days. Attached is a picture of of the grass before which I killed, Tilled and re-seeded.

No, do not buy, waste of time and money
we tilled our yard, planted the seed and all that is growing is clover. In our front yard all we have is literally like 20 blades of grass! it's such hard work for nothing. definitely do not recommend.

Perfect Brand
Grass seed has rhizomatous runners that spread out to help fill in bare areas. Now I'm hoping the El Nino rains arrive so that I can reduce my watering frequency.

Great Product
After removing a bush near the driveway in the front yard (huge, not another one matching, neighbor's former dog urinating on it) I wasn't sure if I could grow grass in the spot instead. I bought the house 5 years prior to removing the bush and figured it was past time.
I found the RTF product online here and set it for store pickup. It was sold online only. After having the stump removed, the dirt and minerals was fairly evened out. I did use peat moss in combination with this product over the spot. About 3 days afterwards, and a few short waterings along with a thunderstorm, I was already seeing new grass.
It definitely works.

Tall Fescue Grass Seed is Partly Filled-in
I purchased this 10 lb. bag of seed at Home Depot.com online and picked it up at the store to avoid $hipping. I cultivated the soil and mixed in seed with Topper soil and Amendment. I added another layer at a shallower depth and covered all with steer manue to keep away birds. I have sprinkled water thoroughly twice/day. As you can see from the before and after photos, grass has partly filled-in however there are still some gaps that will require another round of seeding.

More weeds than grass growing
Terrible quality! I used 3 different tall fescue brands, 2 sprouted with only dark green tall fescue… this one, in the other hand, grew predominantly weeds and whatever grass sprouted in between is light green which made my lawn looks ugly and two-colored! So disappointing and waste of money on seeds and labor

The grass germinated consistently over the whole area. We had cultivated the soil and improved/renovated the irrigation ahead of time so that there was head to head irrigation coverage. Seed was covered with Kelloggs Topper.

Seems to be good seed with high germination. January 2022 test date so new seed. Other bags on the shelf were from 2021, lucky I only needed 10 pounds.
Used to plant a new yard. Started coming up after 5 days. It appears that there is a high level of germination after only 6 days.

Did a fall seeding after dethatching, within two weeks it...
Did a fall seeding after dethatching, within two weeks it started to come up. This grass seed is a slow riser so patience and observing where is was put down to notice growth. Will put down the rest of the bag in spring and wait for it to cover the lawn. Only used a small amount and it did come up evenly. Bare areas are covered. I'm happy with its results.

I use this product in the central valley where it...
I use this product in the central valley where it is very hot and dry. To my surprise it has worked very well with limited water and it is slow growing which also helps.
